Why give instruction away for free? It takes income away from honest hard-working instructors who rightly charge for their skill/experience. Teaching is a profession. First of all, I believe it's spelled Squier and i don't think anyone that plays for a band on some sort of small -> big circuit would have a non custom guitar...

Fender makes some really squiers that can easily out play a lot of fenders-So I dont think it really matters...Stevie Ray Vaughn always used his old Fender Strat " Lenny" which his wife bought at a pawn shop...

actually if your guitar is of good quality and it is set up correctly it will stay intune no problem ive been doing this type of stuff for years and very rarely do i have a problem with tuneing

strats are hard to keep in tune with this kind of thing, but if your nut is well lubricated and your strings don't stick anywhere on the headstock, it can be done without effecting the tuning too much.

CAN'T DO THIS!! How do you actually bend behind the nut and hit the note like that? Do I need to use a lighter gage strings? Can't really see what he's doing! I'm using a strat like he is too! Frustrated!

Just give the strings a good push downward. It's not that hard, just practice hitting the notes.

This lesson specifically applies to using a headstock similar to a strat. Obviously, you can apply the technique to other types of headstocks with a little practice. Now go get yer shinebox.
