  • Cheetahs are the prime reason I'm in college to be a vet. I hope to one day move to Namibia, to the cheetah reserve :)

  • no way!!! i wasnt looking at first and thought it was a bird. im fascinated that such a powerful animal could make a beautiful noise.....i would stay there all day if i went to that zoo

  • CUTE!!!!!!

    XD

  • I LOVE CHEETAHS!!! They're gorgeous animals! Who wouldn't want one themselves? I know I want one really bad!!!

  • Simple safety rule of thumb. If the animal can eat you don't fuck with it. No matter how cute you think they are. Like the twisted guy in Alaska that gave wild grizzlies cutsie names like they were teddy bears. One of the bears ate him and his girlfriend!

  • Aww how cute :D

  • So heartbreakingly gorgeous! This probably my favourite cat!

  • they r adorable, fast, cute, adorable, cute....

  • apparently pet cheetas have a tendency to bond very closley with 'there people' and make great 'pets' for experienced handlers. personaly, if i could (safely and legaly) have one. but, i cant so ill stick to dreams and stories.

  • cheetahs sound so cute when they chirp!

  • really sounds like a chicken

  • They're so cute! Cheetahs don't eat people, do they? I could have one for a pet if I wanted, right? : )

  • Out of the big cats, Cheetah's are amongst the most tame. And are often (well I guess USED to be) used as pets. But the age old rule, wild animals don't make good pets exists for a reason.

It's a shame... I would love a pet cheetah, I think their just amazing. Too bad their all gonna be dead in a decade or so. Oh well, survival of the fitess and all.

  • cheetahs aren't part of the big cats, but as you can see, cheetahs ARE bigger than house cats. The way to tell a big cat from a little cat is if it can roar or not. seriously, i read it in a book.

  • The way to tell a big cat is that it's big, not that it roars. According to wikipedia, only "panthers" (lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars) roar.

  • They are only Vunerable, there is Least Concern, Possibility on endangered, Vunerable, Endangered, Critically Endangered, Excinct from wild, and Extinct, so they arent that close to bye bye

  • yeah you could kinda have one for a pet... but it would be a LOT of money and a LOT of time;) and a LOT of room... my aunt used to have a tiger.. he died several years back but my aunt and uncle loved him:D

    ♥allison kaye

  • Isn't it dangerous to pet a large cat? What if it loves you so much it starts to bite and claw, like small cats do?

  • haha why do i have thumbs down?? its not like im lying... anyway yes they can get very playful and could bite and scratch you, it happens to people:)..sometimes they die from it. and it isnt always dangerous to pet them, in some places in zoos they have tigers and such in the open for people to pet and take pictures with. you know how magicians and such will have tigers and other large cats on stage... they train them.. touch them... live with them. sometimes their cats kill them but very rarely

  • You could, but aren't allowed, likely by law. They're vulnerable species. They may have more difficulty adapting than other big cats too.

  • cool vid.i really love cheetahs

  • Cheetahs are the best!

  • so hot creature in the world, small head long tail, long legs and hot body..

    lovely cheetah.

  • Where was this filmed? Cheetah's are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

  • Cheetahs are absolutely BEAUTIFUL animals. Thanks for the lovely vid. :D
