Majority of Vanilla fights were just tank n spank compared to the cataclysm fights this is easier then leveling :P

people complain about wow now adays saying its too easy. Its really not, there are normal modes there are hardmodes. Since pre tbc very few people actually got to finish raids. Missing out on a lot of content only 5% of 60's saw naxxaramas. Now everyone can kill LK, but not everyone can do it on heroic. Its better that way, dont bitch because you didnt down Yogg 0 light when it was new. Its not easy you just have to know where to look. I admit it is really plain though. But not this bad.

Its a shame people do that now instead of working to progress through raiding themselves or through their own guild. well lets hope cata raiding is different. so far im impressed with the expansion in general

@davidfm16 Huh ? Raids didn't cost money ? Do you have any idea how much money you had to spend to craft a whole resistance stuff for every member of the raid ? Fire for mc and bwl, nature for AQ and shadow for naxx. Just think about Loatheb, 3 shadow resist potions per person per try... wow.

But I agree, raids were WAY more fun and challenging.

For 40mans to get back into game they'd have to lower raid graphics heavily since many people as is go to 2fps in 25mans even with lowest graphics, simply would require too much off any non-world top guild to find 40 members able to do 40mans ...

I find 10mans fun since you're able to see who's fucking up and whats going wrong

most of the Vanilla fights were tank and spank yeah. The hard part however was keeping 40 people from going AFK and making sure everyone did what they were supposed too. Also the turn around from attempts back then was huge. And there was barely any regen so if the healers went oom it was over.

WotLK is a joke, yes. The only fights resemblent of a good challenge have been yogg 0 watcher and tribute to insanity.

In my opinion BC had the perfect balance between hardcore and accessible. <3 BC

SoulKilla52. I hope you played in Vanilla because it was 10x harder than BC. If you ever did C'thun before level 70 or 80 you would have clawed your eyes out, same goes for Onyxia and Four Hoursemen. Hardest part about BC...Vashj and KT. Illidan was a joke. And as for WotLK, hope you have downed 25 ToGC...its no joke.

it was, during tbc I could get a vashj kill with my guild on my warrior, and that warrior had like 3 epics rest blues and still we were only 20 ppl on the kill. That would never be acceptable on a 40-man raid during pre-tbc. Since then all classes with good gear was needed AND good gear was needed for higher raids.

It didn't come out on the 360.. they implemented a new achievements system that gives you a certain amount of achievement points whenever you do a predetermined task. Different, more difficult tasks, give you achievement points as well as rewards. Such as, unique tabards, mounts, and titles. EG, ____ yourname, or _____ yourname.
