I love when the host at the end apologizes for all the regular parts of the show that were skipped over to accommodate Noel's performances, and then he adds "But we couldn't miss out on this boy". Noel will always be the most special entertainer I've ever come across, simply astounding.

i remember watching this when I was a student. It was amazing seeing and hearing Noel 'live' for the first time.  It inspired me to actually go and buy a guitar and learn the chords to this song. This is when he was just discovering fame which is the best time of any artist, the raw talent shows true and they are doing it for the love of the music which is why this performance is so good. You can see at the end that it meant a lot to him that the performance went so well and it was appreciated so much by the audience...
