I would like to say about his accent that I have a friend who grew up in England in that area, but moved to America, and now his voice is sort of a mix, and he pretty much sounds exactly (accent wise) like Penguin does. I don't think it really sounds that bad. In fact, because of his sheer badassery over every other single villain in this game, this version has quickly become my favorite, and now I'm praying that if I ever do get to meet Mr. North, I will have a spare change of panties on hand.

I can't speak for everyone else but I say Penguins voice is forgivable. I hated when the old shows had him actually making a penguin noise when he laughed. He's always been portrayed as a gentleman villain so it makes the English accent work. The glass in the eye was a bit much but I guess they did it cause NOBODY wears a monocle and they wanted to keep the basic look of all the characters. If they completely changed everyone the hardcore fans who have no life outside of their blogs would bitch

Biggest problem with otherwise great game Arkham City - New villans weren't interesting enough, imo. Penguin was just a typical mob boss who could have been renamed 'Lord icefat' and go the whole game without us recognising him as Penguin. Mr. Freeze was completely unchanged from his (Legendary) animated series persona, and Two-Face was in his vanilla incarnation. I think the only problem with this Penguin is that he didn't really act in any way that would let onto his name. No birdlike Mannerisms, it doesn't really make any sense they'd call him Penguin.

Fantastic game! I was much better at combat in AC than in AA! I couldn't do much 40+ hits combos in the first game, in AC, I hit that number much more often! Personal record was 103 hits! :)

Hence why the bosses aren't fought in the conventional sense as guys like Penguin, Riddler and Two-Face rarely get into fistfights with Batman. And lets face it, if Penguin had started flying around with an umbrella, it would've been too goofy for the game.

@Danthepest1 I do get that and I absolutely loved the game, GOTY in my opinion, but Penguin was just a little uninteresting in my personal opinion. The other villains were handled great, but Penguin's gimmicks were a little under-played out. I'm not sure if they should have left him out of the game in general since he didn't really add anything to the game that couldn't have been substituted with a less exploitable character for future games. That's just my opinion, though!
