Interesting points in this video. Many are true, but there is much evidence for many things involved in faith. There is also a large amount of faith invovled with science. I think the point that you are trying to make is to be faithful on a rational level, but in the video you are denying the faithful of everything. There is evidence for faith and there is such thing as rational faith!

You're right, just like you can't prove or disprove father christmas. Since you can't disprove father christmas, I must assume he is real. So in conclusion, farther christmas is as real as god? No wait, father christmas doesn't logically contradict himself, so I assume father christmas is more real. Is it not hypocritical to criticize an atheist making a rational argument against theism. one thing i see wrong here - the reasoning top down vs. reasoning bottom-up - both are right and both are used (for instance in intelligent systems) - the faith based abuse of the bottom-up reasoning method is seen in that they don't find proven facts that support their claim - the fabricate unprovable assumptions or outright dishonesty and use them to support their unprovable claims...

if the facts the find were truly facts - the reasoning would work.... but we know why it doesn't...

The first problem is that you assume every Theists is a Fideist, meaning that they accept everything blindly.

Perhaps you should actually consider that the majority of Theists believe they have REASONS for their beliefs. You may disagree with these reasons, but it's false to assume that people "just believe" to believe.

I also suggests some philosophy courses to distinguish between the differing reasons as well as different views on Epistemology.
