I,ve been on this concert on reggae sunsplash 1983. It was something about eight o clock in the morning after a whole night of reggae. There was Michigan & Smiley together with yellowman, Gregory Isaacs and lots more. Because of the early morning thats why he´s wearing a pullover cause sun was just coming up and although it was hot in the daytime the night was quite cold from 4 a.m.on. People were tired and Sugar Minott really woke them up. That was the moment that I began to like Sugar Minott.

Raw talent..I have his CD's. Looking at this video makes me proud to be a Jamaican. The talent that comes out of Jamaica is so rich...So many great entertainers. The shows go from 6pm to 7am in morning... By 4am people get tired and are not as excited and with energy as 6pm crowd...
