Oh yeah, you DO NOT want the stock grill, unless you buy a new 08-09 model. No variable cylinder with the SRT8 though unlike the 5.7 HEMI so it does guzzle a bit. BE WARNED!!!!! Cops love pulling them over aswell!!! Highly recomend a radar with this. Do not scuff the SUPER SOFT 20 inch aluminum wheels either, theyve pissed me off a bit.

I went with an 06 300 srt8, love it. eibach coilovers dropped 2 inches, beltronics rx75 radar detector with zr4 laser shifters, k&n intake, and diablo tune. Probablly 460hp at the crank. ROASTS 275/40/20 toyo proxe-4s when i mash the pedal from 30-35mph roll. From a stop, it smokes the tires. Working on finding a grill i like, definetly not trying to make it look like a negro mobile so i have a bit of work cut out for me. got it with 38k miles for under 21k. not bad huh?

Sounds nice mate, did you go with the Mopar intake? I put a K&N in mine, not bad but not amazin, the Diablo II Sport chip perks it up a little though I must say. Well, I hope you enjoy it, they're great cars/Jeeps. Be safe in it!!!

Nope K&N, mopar was a bit too loud for my liking. Yep, i love it. Better quality then my 06 cts-v. The one thing this car truly needs though is a limited slip differential instead of the "electronic differential" which just brakes the tire spinning too much, cause this thing gets a little tail happy when i punch it in a straight line.

There isn't one in the SRT8's, unlike on the 300c. The SRT8 runs permanently on 8 cylinders. The Charger Daytona uses the same engine also. 5.7 litre HEMI variable.

No worries. I bought the SRT8 Charger and sometimes wish I had kept the 300c, and then the foot goes down and you realize why you don't care that it's firing on all 8. LOL!!! Take care matey.

I dont suppose you know what the part number is for the new 09 srt8 wire grill do you? Thats the one I like the most. Weird thing is about gas guzzling, this car is a 5 speed, with over 425hp, and it weighs around 4200lbs... and I average 21 mpg on the highway. In my 06 cts-v with 400hp, 6 speed manual, and it weighed around 3900-4000 lbs, i was getting 20, maybe 21... not bad considering the power increase, losing an overdrive gear, and size / weight increase!!

beautiful... now if only people quit buying the base 300 and putting 24 inch rims, making it look ridiculous, same with the charger. If it weren't for that my 06 cts-v would be gone already and a 300c srt8 like that would be in my driveway. HOWEVER since some people have to ruin how they look with putting gawdy rims on it and all sorts of stupid chrome accessories, i'm waiting on the new camaro ss. Is there an adjusted market price for the 2010 camaro? cause everyone round here is charging extra

I have the Cherokee SRT8 and Charger SRT8, amazing cars and not that expensive now due to the current economy. You can pick up the 300C SRT8 for around $24-26,000 from a dealer (black book price 18-21,000) the Cherokee will go for around $28-31,000. The Merc AMG transmition and Bilstein suspension will last you forever aswell. Hope you find one.
