So I did a sting operation, driving my uncle home from the shuttle and then they spy on me. The decency of these people...then the next few days, they sabotage my car..for what reasons who know? so they can plant drugs? or open my vehicle engine hood and sabotage? I called the cop, he didn't bother to check on surveillance cameras. He closed the case just like that...now my car is devalue as vandalized. Geez, looks like OC is like the rest of California. I want some imm. actions, RIGHT NOW

Bus? unless it use NG or diesel it just as polluting as train....and making a lost every year and let the taxpayers take the bill as usual. I thought Orange County is Republicans, why do they let these socialist run things amok?

OCTA's fleet has been upgraded since this video was produced. Most of their buses use CNG natural gas.

But the waiting time is terrible(take an hour?) and they stop at 9 pm. They should have it cut off at six PM, as sundown is around that time and who in their right mind would wanted to wait in the cold, wet, dark hours?

Why are they running on almost every roads/streets? more excuses to buy more buses and hire more drivers? It take less 15 minutes to walk down one street or two.

I take it by your response that you've never ridden a bus or you did it during the day. Many people use transit to get around. The lines that run into the evening hit mostly commerical and residental areas where cars are a luxury many can't afford. Go to a city where transit is set by your standards (6a-6p) and you will see these are areas where people struggle to get home, resorting to cab ride and family help. It isn't easy but transit is needed even in Orange county.

No fool, I have took OCTA bus many times and during different hours, different area. The bus never get full except for certain area like Santa Ana, where some riders rode freely (using old card, exchanged card, etc.). That is why it need to stop, no harm intended for bus drivers. They just need to have a hiring freeze before turning OC public services into another CA bubble. Think of the big picture. No fool.

FYI, OCTA haven't ordered buses since 2008 and they are actually getting rid of more buses and considering more service cuts. The big picture is that these services are needed. Just because you ride a half-empty bus doesn't mean it's not providing service. As someone who has visited the area twice, I don't have the knowledge to agree or disagree, I'm giving you facts of how the system works.

@UnitedPebbles People who work late to service people like you at the local restaurants and other publics places that cannot afford to live in the rich areas and pay the exorbant amounts of dollars to own a vehicle. Instead they commute to work using public transit like many people who live in a metro population in other cities.

Sorry you feel this way. If you notice, it was my first video ever so of course things will work and things won't. After a while, I did improve and have gone on to do better videos. Your comment will make me stride to do better since ironically I will be visiting OCTA territory next week :)

I miss the small/mid-size busses on the 188 line.

The just recently replaced all of the small/mid-size busses with full-sized busses.
