I have a question, if i put rice or salt into a mason jar and then tighten it by hand will that prevent the contents from going bad for a few years? or do i need an air vacum machine?

Awesome! Pouring the coffee out of the blender and into a jar is so tedious. Instead, I'll take the container off of my blender, unscrew and remove the blade, attach it to the jar, blend in the jar, then remove the blade and attach it back to my blender container. No more time wasted pouring things for me!
