Chiang Saen was built in 545AD This is the first Tai kingdom in the region. Chiang Saen was built in 545AD This is the first Tai kingdom in the region. Chenla the origin of the Angkorian line (Varman kings of Cambodia) is in Mon country (southern Isan region) the problem stems from Khmers thinking they represent the entire Austroasiatic peoples. Funan Chenla were Khmer. The first Khmer King Funan was Kaudinya Varman and the last Khmer King is Sihanouk Varman. King Sihanouk Varman is 90 years today and still lives in the royal palace in Phnom Penh City. Our Khmer Kings live in the royal palace not live in the hospital like the Thai King.

All those negative comment about the movie mean you are not proud of Khmer history and culture being shown to the world you are more worried about who should act, I am pleased/ happy with the selection of actor and actress for the movie, and they are international star and mix race. I'm sure Khmer also act in there too, as Khmer civilisation and that is an important role.

I am not upset about famous actors or actress of block Buster acting as Khmer, their Job is to act and they are good at it. They are well known and help bring attention to the movies. I am just grateful and thankful for the Western who see Cambodian as a great and true historical nation, and it would clearly state that Cambodia is a great Kingdom once rule by great King and we have survive till this day.

Furthermore, this film will help enlighten the world of Cambodians history so there would not be any conflicts between Cambodia and other countries who would try to claim Cambodia as their country.

Thomas Magyar has no experience in movie producing.
Tony Schiena is only an actor.
They don't have $70 Millions for this movie.
My opinion : Thomas Magyar tried to do a quick scam. He want the khmer people to invest the money into this project.

I hope this movie would save to the faces of khmer people. Because I heard that Vietnam own Angkor Wat from the News in Cambodia (but I can't tell everyone) and I said to myself . . what? That don't look right. And I also saw a plane from Vietnam, full of Vietnamese to see Angkor Wat.... on the Internet, and I said what (again)? Someone must sell Angkor Wat to Vietnam like selling land at the border, and Sam Rainsy pretends to help, but did he help? He is in the same group and tries to fool us.
