My wife is from Saskatchewan and we have been married for 24 years we live in Washington state and to this day she still has a Canadian accent. You know...ooot, aboot, hooose. When I talk to her sisters who live in Canada they have a light questioning tone to almost every statement. That's okay my wife claims I have an accent as well. I don;t here it but she say's it's there.
none of us speak like this my friend. i've lived in Canada my whole life and never heard the word "ooot, aboot or hooose". get you're ears clean. typical american bullshit.
Then you haven't met the same Canadians I have my bullshit hating friend. My wife and her family talk like that all the time. My oldest sister married her oldest brother a few years after we got married and now my sister is picking up on the accent. cest l'vie mon frere.
I live in Canada and I agree I've never noticed an accent and I travel alot and have never had it pointed out to me. No one I know says ooot aboot or anything like that.

Everybody has an accent, no matter where you're from. We're just conditioned to it, so we don't even notice.
