LOL...she can only do a few moves...very small and no power behind them...cause her skirt is too short! This dancer sux and she is exactly why lots of people see bellydancing as something akin to stripping instead of what it truly is :(

@NucleoMistika Vc está totalmente certa! Eu não entendo por que elas que são egípcias fazem isso, lá que as coisas não são tão liberais assim, enquanto aqui no Brasil onde tudo é liberal, nós dançamos muito mais decentes do que elas.

I saw her performing in this restaurant live a few weeks ago and I have to say I have never seen this bad dancing!! I cant understand how she is dancing in Sheraton..

Interesting. She dances well, but that costume is a bit distracting. BTW, what happened with the body mesh? I thought it was compulsory. Maybe she's wearing one that's very shear?

Maybe it's compulsory but only a few dancers respect it. I don't think that anybody was sent to jail for this.

What do you mean? My dance shouldn't be called arabic or her dance? I studied with the pionneer of egyptian style in Montreal for almost 10 years. I took so many workshops to learn it. I dance on arabic music, so why I shouldn't call it arabic?

I don't want to offend you or classify your dance. This dance is evidently Arabic, as it is danced in Cairo by an Egyptian woman.

People's dance can only be studied on the spot.

Here, the dancers want to learn the true way of Egypt. They lift the nose on the dance that comes from America because they were told he needed to learn the true Egyptian style. And why? I agree with you. And I also accept that she's not the most elegant and radiant dancer of universe but still very good for a non-arabic bellydancer to learn from.
