@YuriBarber Corey actually used a death growl in the first and second albums, then with his third he just started screaming like a little bitch. That's where I lost respect for him. As for Paul, he was a decent bassist. You couldn't hear his bass at all in the first album, and it's been a while since I've heard the second or third but I'm sure you couldn't hear it there either. The guitarists in Slipknot are shit, the drummer is shit, the DJ is useless, the other two drummers are useless.

Technical aspect doesn't make music good. Nile riffs are primitive (the thing I don't really like). They are usually based on harmonic minor tone without using any chords instead of power ones. That's not cool, really) Drumming is really insane.

Obscura is an exception, really good tasteful death metal, and melodic like Obduktion (check them out). Nile's egyptian theme is what makes them awesome IMO.

They are also melodic and tasteful as well)) Nile's Egtptian themes aren't interesting enough for me because you can make such an "oriental" music just playing harmonic minor scale up and down on your guitar. The real oriental metal is SEZAAM. Chek it out.
