I realize Martin was mosty imrpoving the stuff with the dog, but the way Tommy is reacting is not funny after you've seen this a few times. It's like he has some repressed fear of dogs or stuffed animals. IMO, he is really afraid of that stuffed dog. Look at Pam, she is not jumping all afraid like that. He's not overacting. He was the executive producer, so I am sure he took many liberties and the networks just let him run with it as long as it was funny and pulling in viewers.
