@matrix2k3 uhh yea we do have an answer. Kinect has glaring issues. Floor models in various stores/centers have kinect setups and lag is a major issue. Frequently if you move too fast the kinect sensor will be one or even more moves behind the person. The 30 fps cameras just wont pick up movements if they are too fast, you have to make slower more deliberate moves. MS has even admitted it is an issue and there will be patches. The problem is patches will not fix this issue as it's a hardware one
@matrix2k3 I bought Kinect for my 360 and found out 1) It costs 150 bucks but only costs 45 to produce 2) it was extremely unresponsive 3) No buttons really damper games...
I like the Move, they started working on it in 2001 so they had a lot longer to polish it. Kinect was released WAY too early.
@matrix2k3 I got the Kinect for the Xbox 360 and its awesome because it helps me get more exercise than the Wii. Further more, no controller to use at all.

@CRISTOVIVE2100 psmove is actually more accurate. the kinect is like eye toy for ps2, and the wii uses a a wii remote with motion sensing... so mix both of them, camera and the wii remote, and u get accuracy.
i dont think your right in saying the xbox is close to being maxed out, as they proved with the kinect they havent. also xbox has better graphics so they can only get better, but the ps3 does kick arse- dont get me wrong.

XBOX 360- Has crisper and definitive lines.
I have Resident Evil 5 and MW2 for both consoles and I notice that the PS3 has much better blues and greens but objects tend to have mild edges. The XBOX's colors look a little bland compared to the PS3 but the in game objects are almost life like.
I think the ball on Top is so stupid on Sony's part...my opinion. I rather play games on a real controller or when I do PC gaming...a Mouse and Keyboard.

THE TRUTH: Playstation has done motion sensing since the PS1! PS Move has been in the works since the EyeToy was released, but the PS2 didn't have enough power so they brought it on the PS3. Also, it's been in the work for over 4 years, that's why so far it looks a lot better Kinect.
I'm not trying to hate the Kinect, but it's obvious Microsoft just rushed Kinect only to steal some of Playstation's revenue. Kinect was a nice idea, but they didn't put enough time on it. They just rushed it out.

@AMatte18 Actually it's only $299 and it has no other versions. Atleast, I don't believe it does. I was also disappointed the Xbox 360 still gets errors, you would think they would fix it, but no. But hey, it looks a hell of a lot better than the old 360 and now they're finally trying to catch up with the PS3 by offering more memory and built in WiFi.
PS3 still has more advantages over it though. Once PS3 offers backwards compatibility and better online service, it will be PERFECT!

IT csot's a lot more money to make a ps3, it has more powerful components. Therefor they had to reduce the size (shipping is cheaper) and change the shape to be able to make it cheaper.

Activision threatened Sony that it will stop supporting the PS3 and the PSP if it did not lower the price. @CRISTOVIVE2100 no,it does not suck but it's nothing original at all.ps move can do anything kinect can.just type ''kung fu live'' in the search bar.the developers of this game have used the eyetoy only.and it perfectly detects full body movements without the controllers.You will have to agree that microsoft is a copycat.
ps move is compatible with more types of games than kinect(shooters) and it's a lot more accurate.

@CRISTOVIVE2100 psmove is actually more accurate. the kinect is like eye toy for ps2, and the wii uses a a wii remote with motion sensing... so mix both of them, camera and the wii remote, and u get accuracy.

i dont think your right in saying the xbox is close to being maxed out, as they proved with the kinect they havent. also xbox has better graphics so they can only get better, but the ps3 does kick arse- dont get me wrong.

PS3- Crisper colors from the blu ray
XBOX 360- Has crisper and definitive lines.
I have Resident Evil 5 and MW2 for both consoles and I notice that the PS3 has much better blues and greens but objects tend to have mild edges. The XBOX's colors look a little bland compared to the PS3 but the in game objects are almost life like.

it's plain as day! Playstation 3 is about to dominate! PS Move just looks and feels better than the rushed X-Box 360's Kinect. that's just my personal opinion. Matrix2k3 said it himself X-Box has already peaked? Playstation 3 is still gaining momentum, just the other day IGN.com stated that there's already an install base of some 38 million PS3's to X-Box's 41 million. Keep in mind Microsoft had a year start in this console generation. to top it off, we still have Killzone 3 & LBP 2 to come

THE TRUTH: Playstation has done motion sensing since the PS1! PS Move has been in the works since the EyeToy was released, but the PS2 didn't have enough power so they brought it on the PS3. Also, it's been in the work for over 4 years, that's why so far it looks a lot better Kinect.
I'm not trying to hate the Kinect, but it's obvious Microsoft just rushed Kinect only to steal some of Playstation's revenue. Kinect was a nice idea, but they didn't put enough time on it. They just rushed it out.

yea Microsoft now has the 360 slim witch has a 4GB or 250 GB hard drive(look it up) 4GB is gonna be 199 but 299 bundled with kinetic & and kinetic game
why didn't they put blue ray in or another thing for bigger disk space in...

@AMatte18 Actually it's only $299 and it has no other versions. Atleast, I don't believe it does. I was also disappointed the Xbox 360 still gets errors, you would think they would fix it, but no. But hey, it looks a hell of a lot better than the old 360 and now they're finally trying to catch up with the PS3 by offering more memory and built in WiFi.
PS3 still has more advantages over it though. Once PS3 offers backwards compatibility and better online service, it will be PERFECT!

Next year Toshiba will release a cell tv, same chip thats in the ps3 but on a tv.. compatible with the ps3 think of the power that can b achieved with ps3 as a host... tv will not b cheap though.. also xpect home theatre systems with cell processors built in.. Think about it... ps3 10+ life potential xbox.. maybe 1 more year.. then they will release a new system

IT csot's a lot more money to make a ps3, it has more powerful components. Therefor they had to reduce the size (shipping is cheaper) and change the shape to be able to make it cheaper.

my palm pre is lovely, i like sprint and their plans. im a PC all day. way to much integration and control. palm makes the best smart phones. the pre may not be better but it definitely can compete with the i phone. the integration alone with my face book aim yahoo and all my email accounts is crazy.

Activision threatened Sony that it will stop supporting the PS3 and the PSP if it did not lower the price. By now Sony is making some money on the PS3 so, I think they are going to milk it even longer. For a price cut wouldn't they need to make the hardware a little smaller to lower manufacturing cost? When the PS3 goes down to the 45nm chipset there will be a $100 price cut. August is a good time to make the cut but, the holiday season would be better(Sales wise). Later bro

i bought my iphone and then a month later they announced that they were dropping the 3g and it would cost 100 dollars less than what i paid...so i got dicked over, but i still love my phone.. dunno if im ready to upgrade to 3gs yet cuz by next year something new is gonna come out anyways and i got life on my phone yet.... we'll see
