It's actually easier to use tiny chewy treats broken into bits for training, the crumbs fall while they're eating and distract them, and not only that reward them when they find 'em later for random things <3 Just a little tip.

my puppy hates treats he doesnt care for them at all so its kinda hard to train him i was trying to teach him how to sit for lik 2 months and then i gave up but one day i just yelled at him to sit and he just did it! it was so weird. i also learned now that my dog loves hugs and praise so when i want to teach him somthing i have to hug him hold him and tell him he's a good boy over and over my friends think thats weird but theyre dogs wont do anything unlss they have a treats!!!

i am not looking for/asking for training tips. i have had several dogs over the course of my life and before my current job I worked at an animal hospital for years, Thank you for your concern. She typically DOES do lay down but not if she feels super active. (also to the person that said dogs automatically sit when they are smelling a treat as you will notice i used no treat in the beginning. Thanks)
