@dYShock We all know that, GXSCC is pretty nice when it comes to relieving the curiosity of what a song would song through chiptune or 8 bit, (yes it isn't legitimate 8-bit) but nonetheless.
@IndicaEuphora My issue with this is that the OP pretends that this is "coded with the NES synth" when it clearly isn't. That is false representation at best, and being a composer for the actual NES sound chip, I find this quite a bit offending to those of us (and there are many of us indeed) who put time and effort into making actual NES music.
Besides, no, not everyone knows exactly what GXSCC is and that is why I (and many other) frown it upon. Perhaps you shouldn't speak for everyone here.
@dYShock Well congratulations that you follow virtual-musical limitations from the 1980's. GXSCC is and only a "what-if" program, it isn't meant for competition. The fact that it offends you (and alot of others appearently) is plain silly.
DO NOT GET ME WRONG THOUGH. I completely agree with you with the false representation issue. And that's where I can see you looking down on GXSCC. Not to worry though, not like these lame-o's don't get called out on their plagiarizing videos,
@IndicaEuphora Eh, you're right but there's still a lot of chiptune musicians and listeners out there. Like, a lot. Might not be a chart-topping genre but it does have a pretty huge following. For them, I can see how the uploader can be seen as a fraud or something. Like a dude trying to pass off an MIDI metal song as his own instrument playing. Idk, I'm not one of them.
the rainbow phoenix is pretty badass. i reccomend getting it, it's a little touchy to control, but no more than leons machine. its snaking-friendly and the wings open when you boost. this and QQQ's rolling turtle are my two favorites.
like 16 bit....

Get lost, this is nothing more than a MIDI played through GXSCC.
