THIS IS AWEFUL! i know im late on the process but that site has 11 of the countries oldest buildings. That site should be fully preserved and fully restored to its original state. It should be put to use as a museum of sorts to the navy yard and the surrounding neighborhoods while also serving other purposes. As a Brooklyn Heights resident, It would be a great shame to see those buildings torn down. I am terribly disappointed to see how unwilling these people are to preserve our nations history.
