I saw these guys at a blues 'n' brews thing in Charlottesville VA a few years back. He was playing a strat through a Marshall bluesbreaker amp. He tore it up pretty good. He plays kinda like Gatton with an SRV feel. Warren Haynes is about the only thing close.
Buddy is such a nice guy and tasteful player - and can sing a bit too. He is one of those guys who knows when to back off and leave some space when needs be...
Z amps are becoming very popular in the UK now. I got me one recently (a Z-28 combo). Simple monster tone machine....
too right. I just got back from seeing/hearing Buddy rock The Half Brick in Worthing, East Sussex. Fabulous! Amazing player with a tremendous voice. The drummer(Darby Ford) was incredible too! AS an added bonus we were treated to an appearence from local hero Gary Moore. In my opinion he was too loud most of the time but shone occasionally. Hope we get to see Buddy round these parts again soon though....
Lord have mercy...Buddy's voice makes a pleasant change from Mayall's.(Thank God for that!) He should sing more. Fabulous guitar player also obviously.
i was a bodyguard in savona for the concert, and I go crazy for this song, but actually for the gret man of GOD...buddy...he play guitar so so so so so well, the number 1 ..and what a wonderful voice!!!!

One of my favourite Freddie King tracks. Buddy pays homage and plays like a trooper. What a voice and what a tone!
Buddy, Bonamassa and Matt Schofield are the future of Blues.

Buddy is one of the greatest guitarists in his field today.
It's about the melody and tone and he has it all. Coupled with a superb vocal ability, Buddy has to be my favourite artist at the moment.
