My J-Hat in boot camp was the Platoon Sgt of Silent Drill Platoon. He showed us some videos of him doing the rifle twirling. Made us feel how much we sucked at drill.

Actually Hamburger Hill was taken by the 101st airborne division.

In fact, Porkchop Hill was taken by the US 8th cavalry regiment and the US 180th infantry regiment. None of those hills were ever taken by the USMC. You don't know shit about the USMC!

some of these guys have big scars on their faces from when they were practiceing and they dident quite catch the bayonett that was thrown at their face, yes they use real bayonetts, and yes the marines are the best

im finishing up the school to be part of it i have about three weeks left...its great man...the school sucks but its worth it man...to get selected to even come to the barracks you have to be infantry and have to be between 70 and 74 inches to be a marcher and taller for color guard...i wanted to be part of the platoon since i was a freshman in high school and now im about to be part of it...just goes to show that dreams do come true...semper fi

OMFG...somebody tell me y they would add music to a video of the SILENT drill team? part of what make the USMC silent drill team so amazing is that they all sound in sync...there are over 20 people in this platoon and it is freakn' amazing when it sounds like you are listening to only one person...no music should EVER be added to the silent drill platoon...it just ruins it...they r amazing in and of themselves...music does them no justice...
