  • thanks a lot mate

  • So this is what Harry does outside of Hogwarts.

  • how long did you learn this?

  • you go way to fast! i can't write it down!!!

  • Thanks, a 12 year old (me) has learned from your tutorial. :-bd :D

  • are they a single note melody for the advance bit for the right hand or do you have to play the octaves . I have a problem with my right pinky and thus octaves are difficult to do.

  • @mrbwdjr01 You can play it any way your comfortable, it doesn't have to be played in a specific way :)

  • @grasshopper3976 Thanks I almost have it all, most comprehensive tutorial I have learned from great job.

  • grasshopper.

Can you still play the adv part?

Where you play 8 on left hand. Both adv parts. I can't uhh.. get which parts get together :/

If you can still play, could you show me which parts go together?

    Thank you!

  • hi i just subscribe to you , it would be great if you could upload the score for your canon in d version.

  • I have learned canon from everything on until now. I have difficulty with the double speed, but i'll give it a couple of more shots until I manage. I want to thank you a lot for your tutorial!

  • is it very IMPORTANT, these variations?

  • @Fallschirmjaeger963 Well not really i guess, its just if u want it to mix it up and have more fun with it, create ur own kinda playing.

  • @grasshopper3976

ok, danke much ^^ your tutorial's the only one wich made me play canon in D (sorry for my bad English, Belgian (: )

  • hi

first i have to say thank you i can play all melodies but left and right hand together

you only explain it from the other camera position it would be nicer if you you how to play melodies toghether from other place so we can see it better

  • i love u love u

  • I have a question about the advanced part. When you play the left hand is it double the regular tempo and the right hand is the normal tempo?

    Thanks!

  • @galaxybig1 Yes you are right, the left hand plays at double the speed while the right hand continues at its regular speed for the chorus. The start of the advanced you could say for the right hand is double speed as well since its rather quick too.

  • @grasshopper3976 So does that mean that you play one note on the left hand and one note from the right hand at the same time? Like it is played at the same tempo on both hands so you don't play 2 on the left and then one on the right?

  • @galaxybig1 Lol now ur confusing me. in Canons advanced part every right handed note is played at the same time as a left handed note, but there are pauses in the rite hand so its not on every beat. During the normal Canon they are also played at the same time but each left hand note has a pause and right hand notes have pauses aswell, something u need to figure out which ones are played together and when :S

  • @grasshopper3976 lol thanks that is what i was asking

  • Thanks a lot for the tutorial. It is all in detail. Easy to learn...except the combination part of both left and right hand.

  • excellent tutorial thanks very much. but for the advance bit, in the combining stage i couldn't pick it up, do you have notes for the left and right hand. thanks again for the wonderful tutorial

  • Sorry, learnt by tutorial, not by sheets.

  • I had the same problem at the chorus.

Maybe its an idea to write it al down (the letters of the notes). Then its much easier.

    cheers, me

  • thanks a lot but the combining part is so fast+hard, so couldn't get it

  • thanks a lot for this tutorial . It was amazing . I finally learned the song i've always wanted to play ! having some problems with the last part, but it's all good =) please check my channel and tell me what you think of my video . I know its not good, but im just a beginner ,thx :):)

  • I LOVE THIS TUTORIAL its the easiest and clearest to see all the notes and you speak slowly and go over most parts twice I understood EVERYTHING I just finished learning the song and I have been practicing every day I saw the advanced part and I don't think I could ever play it but its good that you even gave the option to play an advance part...........Its a little off topic but me and my sister LOVE the accent XD

  • Hey, Thanks :D

Don't sweat it about the advanced part, i was exactly the same, but look at me now xD

All you gotta do is try it and keep trying, you'll get there. And thanks for the accent comment Lol, i never knew i really sounded like that xD

  • THANK YOU !

  • its very hard for me to do the advanced part because im sooo used to playing the left hand the way you taught us in the other videos . . . . any suggestions?

  • Hmm. Other than practicing it really slowly, what helped me was that i learnt drums a while back and i think in Beats. So when the Adv bit begins it just becomes double the speed. That doesnt really help i know but maybe try counting 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 in you head whilst playing or with a metronome to keep your speed correct aswell. Apologies if this doesnt help, im not much of a teacher xD

  • @grasshopper3976 thx ill try that. great tutorials by the way. i think you r a good teacher.

  • play the right hand notes both together, it sounds better i think

  • sorry i wasnt clear. . . .

like when u play the thing after the intro how u play the left hand and the right hand alltogether. do u do the same thing?

  • Umm, if i understand you right, yes the left hand just plays the basic 1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4 unless you wish to mix it up yourself. If not it just carries on the same set of notes.

  • nvm. i dont know how else to explain it . . . its not ur falt

  • do u play them all together?

    please reply!!! someone

  • By that do u mean playing both left and right hand all together? then yes.

If thats not what u mean please explain ur question a bit more :)

  • well he is a talkative boy..............

  • o.o ur right this is intense. but what I do is like play so slow that you can hear what they sound like together an you can tell if it ain't right or not.. so it is possible to learn a part like this. thanks you did well on every single. when I have it all down I'll do a response

  • ive been looking for a proper tutorial of canon in d for ages.. thx man!
