Your going to crash your bike when you start out, most people do. the question is wether you want to be going 50-100mph on a 600, or 100-200mph on a 1000 when you lay it down. buy a decent used bike to start out with. get some heavy duty riding gear and wear it EVERY TIME you ride, even if its the middle of the summer. i learned that the hard way with a shit load of road rash i got during a short ride to the gas station on a warm night.

Start with a 600!A 1000 will get u killed!And Kawasakis are great to start but they suck once you learn to ride. Started out with a 2007 ZX-6 and had a great time, but after a few months-got bored with it..Upgraded to a 2004 R6.No comparison between the two! The R6 has powerful low and high ends.Suzuki GSX-R is also a good bike (few friends have them).Can't say much on the CBR's but definately dont go with a Kawi. Kawi is handles nice but is too weak!Learn to walk before u run!

And don't think i would get too bored with it. cause in all honesty its all the power i would need. but i think i would want a 1000cc to start off cause it just has the extra power just for when you want to use it, or need it you know? And if i start out with a 600, and want a 1000 i don't wanna have to sell it and resave money all over again for a new bike.

@bloodsniper10 Bro, if you have the extra power you'll use it, and you'll kill yourself before you get used to riding, trust me, i know. I started off with a cbr 600 and in under a month I was toping it out, i'm lucky ididnt kill myself. you can reason with yourself and say " I'll be okay, i wont go 200mph plus until i can handle it". but when you get on that bike a monster will be born. There are two kinds of motorcycle riders, people who have crashed and people who are going to crash.

@bloodsniper10 you probobly know this but if you dont here goes. it may differ from state to state, but i know for sure in wasington state you aren't requierd by law to have insurance on a motorcycle, you can get it if you want to but you dont need it. check your state laws you probobly don't have to have it.

If your thinking of bein cool doin wheelies, goin 200 mph,and tryin to impress the girls, you better get a 600, or better yet dont get one at all and stay alive. If your wanting to get one to ride and enjoy bein alone on a bike cruisin while bein in the peacefulness of hearin the rpms , get the 1000 and grow into it. just take it slow. just remember acting a fool = death.

yeah unfortunately there are more and more speed limits... However the more empty roads are basically without any. I know my routes if I want to kick the pedal to the metal. However in this video you can actually see an automated speed limit which is definately not 260 ... :) you can see it at 0:44. (automated speed limit signals implemented in some kind of bridge)

at that speed you need more than half a mile to stop. if you cant see half a mile, cause of corners, hills etc. etc. you cant go max speed, so they cant allow you to go vmax and limit the speed. that's the main reason why there isnt 100% unresticted autobahn...

Its spelled "Autobahn" not "Autobanh" and there are only certain parts of highways in Germany that have no speed limit. Autobahn in German means "highway", so understand that these highways go all throughout Germany, and only certain parts do not have a speed limit. Other countries in Europe have these no speed limit. For example the Autostrada in Italy.

@shadyism666 actually, after the "National Maximun Speed Law" in 1974, only the state of Montana had no speed limits is some rural roads, but that was found unconstitutional in 1999 and now there is a 75 mph speed limit :) the fact that they don't enforce it (cos they don't give a bloody hell) doesn't mean it's legal, you can still drink and drive! you can't be drunk, but you can drink though :) and you can also shoot a gun while driving in Montana's rural roads... you can't aim at anyone though
