  • I saw a show with some people who mainly ate fast food tried an all fruit/veggie diet for 12 days and at the end they're cholesterol levels were lower, blood pressure lower and one guy who was borderline diabetic was no longer at risk, etc. And when it was all over they were offered fattening burger or a healthier meal, and only 1 chose the burger. So I guess the others lost their craving. So your story makes sense. - Keep the faith!

  • I really did get more confident...as I was losing. Now that it's slowing down I seem to be losing a bit of that confidence.

  • I'm so happy you said what you said about God. I feel the same way. I've been so blessed with my own weight loss and need to get back on track with thanking Him for that.  Great job girl.. :)

  • I can REALLY relate with what you said about how you just don't like those foods as much any more... it's strange... but I feel that way about pop and other junk foods that I would eat for comfort. It's a great feeling, isn't it?

  • I totally agree, I was an "Emotional" eater and so I had to ask God to break me of being like that. He is definately helping me on my way as well.

  • the way you can tell if it's working. You get a systemic heat all over your body..you are like a funace burning fat for fuel..56lbs is great! When I was doing Atkins I got up to 5 miles a day and it took me hour 10 min.that was at a really fast clip..I lost 30 lbs in 6 weeks doing that..but now I had a minigastricbypass and I am not exercising at all I have plantar facsitis. a stretched out tendon on the bottom of my foot. it is getting better but I am afraid to hurt it again.

  • Rose, I think I know what you are talking about with the heat thing. Usually during my last mile I do feel hot. Not like a sweaty hot I mean my skin feels hot like I'm standing next to a warm fire.
