  • Dude! Whats the total cost of that set? nice drumming

  • THX ! Appreciate ur comment. A TD-6v like the one in this video go's for about $600 to $800usd used. Im using 2 modules so my set up is a bit extended.

  • you think you could do 8675309 studio version ?

  • @kevin30705 Sorry i researched 8675309 and it's label is WMG i can't post it U/T will pull it Sorry!!!!

  • wow journey is so much faster live

  • @bigtarget9 Yeah i love journey live over studio! They do play much faster as most artist do...

  • wow dude. its surprising that you got the timing perfect. and the fact i can play this song on my guitar.

  • Thax man! not perfect but i got the job done i guess. may be we can play this tune together sum time! kooooooooooool : D

  • Is that a TD-9K?

Have you tried the all Mesh version, do you prefer the rubber pads to the mesh, or was it budget decided?

    -Sam

  • The set up im using here is a td-6v and td-7. i do prefer (mesh) over rubber. I no longer have my td-6,I now use a td-9k. i hope to switch out the rubber for all mesh...

  • Nice. I need to save :)

£1.5k is a lot of cash!

    -Sam

  • I love the journeys ! Ive always wanted to get a drum set.. saving some money now!

But that was truly amazing ! And one of the first times I really hear an electric drum set !! Keep playing other journey songs like "wheel in the sky" etc.

    DruMMerGirl /|_|\

  • Hey thanx my friend! hope u play sum Journey 4 us y/t'brs. and congrats on get'n a kit : )

  • I've always thought about purchasing a good electronic kit, simply because you can't get every sound you want out of an acoustic kit. Keep on rockin'!

  • Thanx! thats true edrums can give u a LOT! but i do miss my acoustic set : (

  • How are ya my friend? Well I just got me an acoustic set.. I love the drums.. and you gave me the will to start workin on them. Thank you my friend.. Hugssss KIM

  • I have a little envy,i wish i could play a set of acoustics again : ( Thanx 4 watch'n ; ) glad i was in sum way able to inspire as a lot of great viewers in here do 4 me! i hope 2 see sum post frm u!!!!!!!!! ; )

  • Great job! I wish I had the time to play like I used to. I just need to make it a point to make the time to sit and play again! I have a request for you...if you haven't already done it. The live version of "Mother, Father" from Houston, TX. November of 1981...if I am not mistaken. This is one of my favorite Journey songs. The studio version from the Escape album is great...but I think Perry does even better (if that is even possible) on this live version.

  • Thanx!yeah u have to make time if u want to play 4 sure.I have Mother Father, not sure if it's the Houston version? it might be. i will post that up 4 u Thanx 4 requesting it!

  • Whats your favorite program to use on the TD6? Is there a combination you've found that works really well?

  • I use kit #14 on my TD-6 and kit #2 on my TD-7 then I model the sounds to get just what i want to hear.

  • excellent job again mate on this track and the dont stop believin track keep postin.

  • Thanx! I like how u played The Script....

  • Another one of my Journey favorites. And you did an awesome job on the drums. Love it!. I'm working on SeparateWays and Blvd of broken dreams. I must try this one after those.

  • Thanx a bunch my friend!Looking forward 2 ur next post...

  • Thanx! glad u liked it. Steve Perry is Journey! Neil Schon just doesn't get it! I like the new music,I just wish Perry was sing'n it!

  • That says it all! Perry was Journey! The new music is good and Pineda is a great vocalist. But...the magic is gone. I have noticed a very obvious change in the songwriting since Perry was asked to leave the band. It seems like Cain is doing the majority of the songwriting...even though I am sure Neal has his hands in it as well. Deen Castronovo is a great drummer, but I still think that Steve Smith was the best drummer that Journey ever had. NO, Neal doesn't get it, and he never will.

  • Man u could not have said it any better!!!! I agree with u and feel the same way on all points!

  • Great job and sound! I seen Journey a couple of months ago live with that new singer. No one can replace Steve Perry in my opinion.

Keep up the good work JJ 5/5
