There's a touch of the Smithereens, which could be an influence, or purely coincidental. My own band has sometimes been compared in complimentary fashion to bands I only know one or two songs from and have not otherwise listened to at length. In any case, I like this song! :)

I do hear the Smithereens more than anyone. Just learned about these guys on Little Stevens Underground Garage and fell in love from the very start.

Saw these guys at the Underground Garage Fest back in 2004 on Randall's Island...one of the only early bands that stood out...thanx for posting!
