I've been studying the topic of weight loss for about 10 years now (I'm a personal trainer for a living) so I think I can shed some light on the topic.
HOW TO LOSE FAT
1) Cut out carbs in the evenings (eat "low glycemic" carb sources in the day).
2) Choose the exercises that burn the most calories (NOT sit ups and curls). Squats, Lunges, Pull Ups etc. are great examples.
3) Use the software and meal plans from FatLossCustomized. com
I don't know why anyone would follow a nutrition program that isn't customized to their body type. Anyone who wants to lose weight should be following the "Fat Loss Customized" program..

just because you workout your abs does not mean the fat around your abs will be reduced faster. That's actually proven to be a myth. Also, its important to know the difference between trying to burn fat and just picking an effective diet and enjoyable activity that burns lots of fat like HIIT. If you google "your fit assist" it talks about how most people who do focus on fat burning or calorie burning usually get fatter when they stop lol
@clairebear1931 it is true, there is no such thing as spot fat loss. exercise will cause a fat loss which is dictated by the body metabolism. people often do too many crunches or other ab exercises without understanding this fact and they remain flabby. plain cardio which raises your pulse rate to 70-85% of the max is the best way to get rid of the initial pounds. the final few pounds can be dealt with by carb cycling etc.
also focusing on bigger muscle groups like thighs helps.
There are no exercises that get rid of belly fat, stop perpetuating this nonsense. All fat loss occurs in a systemic fashion, there is no such thing as spot reduction. Fat loss requires a caloric deficit. Doing ab exercises until the cows come home wont make any difference if your body fat level is high.
And why is a trainer hiding her fat stomach under two shirts while she tries to tell others how to do something she isn't accomplishing herself?

This exercise does help you lose belly fat because it helps you build muscle and muscle helps your metabolism work faster, if you walk and diet you will loose weight but your arms and stomach will hang because you lost weight but did not tone your body, so walking should be combined with weights or aerobics so that your body wont be lose.(hanging)
I found it very helpful! It has helped me lose my stubborn love handles. The only way this wouldn't work is if you just did it once. You have to keep doing it. So for those of you who think it don't I am your proof. I lost 2 inches in a week!

These excercises will help develop strength and muscle tone but will not help with the fat loss very much. In order to have a ripped mid section you need a low body fat %. To achieve this you need to expend more energy than you consume daily. In other words your better of doing some interval training and having a strict diet. Spot training doesnt work, squats dont burn fay of your ass and crunches dont burn fat of your belly. Where you store and loose fat from is decided by genetics.
It is wrong to say that these exercises will not help you lose love handles. ANY toned muscle will speed up your metabolism and help you burn calories. The more toned, lean muscle you have, the faster you will burn the fat.. These exercises alone will NOT get you a perfect body. You do need to eat properly and have a regular cardio routine,,BUT when you DO lose that flab, your toned muscles will be exposed for all to see.. This is advice I received from a highly successful personal trainer.

I have a question. I'm a fourteen, almost fifteen year old girl, and I eat pretty much whatever I want. But I eat a lot of fruit because I love it. I run a little bit everyday, do ab workouts, jumping jacks, crunches, and do palates once every week. Some days I feel bigger than others. Is that normal?
@colletttonia im not the person who put up the video but im a personal trainer. you can do it from a chair but be sure not to tilt to far on the way down as you turn your hips to try and balance. standing up prevents this, so yes it can be done sitting down but with slow precise movements. hope this helps.
does the for arm thing really work because it feels to me that it gets u abs but if u are trying to get abs while you have a stomach you build muscel underneath your stomach it makes you more fat
this will NOT help you loose belly fat or love handles. Dieting and cardio are the only thing that will burn fat off the most stubborn parts of the body which is the stomach and the hip area.High intense cardio that you change up every so often is best. Interval training works great ! Try aerobic kickboxing, jogging, etc. Mix it up. Do something different every day( one day aerobics, next day jog,next day aerobics,next day jog, etc.) but make sure you sweat and stick to a diet of 1500 calories.

Guys to be honest you guys haven't noticed onething in her she is musculer and though her body is muscular like men she looks like Bowl belly .But her exercises are beneficial I tried this and it works .But mainly I loz of diet 2 eggs full boiled in morning ,afternoon fruits and salads .and Dinner soup and whole meal bread . and 1.5 litres of water .in the Evening 2 Banana not ripen .

I have a question. I'm a fourteen, almost fifteen year old girl, and I eat pretty much whatever I want. But I eat a lot of fruit because I love it. I run a little bit everyday, do ab workouts, jumping jacks, crunches, and do palates once every week. Some days I feel bigger than others. Is that normal?

@colletttonia im not the person who put up the video but im a personal trainer. you can do it from a chair but be sure not to tilt to far on the way down as you turn your hips to try and balance. standing up prevents this, so yes it can be done sitting down but with slow precise movements. hope this helps.

this will NOT help you loose belly fat or love handles. Dieting and cardio are the only thing that will burn fat off the most stubborn parts of the body which is the stomach and the hip area.High intense cardio that you change up every so often is best. Interval training works great ! Try aerobic kickboxing, jogging, etc. Mix it up. Do something different every day( one day aerobics, next day jog,next day aerobics,next day jog, etc.) but make sure you sweat and stick to a diet of 1500 calories.
