The American football players would get penalized for removing their helmets on the field. The baseball catcher would miss the catch and the runners would advance bases or he would get hit in the crotch or face by the pitch (it still hurts even with the protection). Good ideas though.

i think its up to the ref. certainly its classless. the initial tactic w/o the shorts dropping is good...get in the way and get back onside.

But ultimatly the ref has to decide whether or not he thinks it is acceptable. Some refs take uniform etiquet seriously...but they definitely shouldnt ban it.
