  • hey reed is there a chance you can get that amc clip of the united states feature presention during the year 1984 to 86

  • It's From 1995 not 1990.

  • Hello Reed 488 ,I just want you to know how much i miss all thease old amc clips. This one that says Theres a Differce is my favorite. Thank you so much for thease memories. John M Hightower from Houston Texas. my favrorite amc theater here is Studio30 back in those day it was amc Town&Country 6

  • when this trailer showed before the movie.... I was ready

  • come to my channel i go on a quest to see movies! its fun to watch u see wat i go through just to watch movies lol come to my channel now! an subscribe! :D

  • i wish they would bring this back

  • Are you sure this is from 1995? I swear I saw this as early as 1990. I remember the reels freaking me out as a five-year old!!

  • When I first posted this video, I dated it from 1991-1994, but somebody almost immediately told me it was 1995-1998, so, given I was born in the late 1980s and do not remember this trailer, took him at his word. In retrospect, I should not have done that, given that, ironically, as I already said, I do not remember this trailer, but remember the other "AMC Theatres Feature Presentation Trailer" that I uploaded and dated earlier as being from 1994. I'll change the years in the two video titles.

  • @Reed488 Whomever told you this was from 1995-1998 is wrong. 1990 sounds about right. I started working at Metrolight Studios at the beginning of 1992 and this was already a fixture in their demo reel at the time, made up of work from about the 1988-1991 period. I think this was done roughly the same time as their ABC World of Discovery work and I'm guessing was either art directed by Jon Townley or Steve Martino. Really nice stuff.

  • Thanks for the clarification and reinforcement of my notion. As a "1990s child" born in the late 1980s, I do not remember this trailer at all, but the trailer I uploaded and titled as "AMC Theatres Feature Presentation Trailer (1994-1995)" was a staple of my childhood moviegoing.

  • @Reed488 Hi Reed488 My name is john hightower and i would like to know if i can download this tune to my cell phone if possible. my email is amctc10@yahoo.com i will wait for your respones or you can call me here in houston texas at 1-281-923-5206 thank you so much this would mean alot to me if this could be done

  • @amcstudio30 No problem.

  • @ForceMaximus84 This trailer is my alltime favorite except the one from 1984 with the map of the united states

  • @amcstudio30 I have never seen that one, but I would love to. I have never seen an AMC trailer older than 1986 (the "Silence is Golden" Policy Snipe with the lady who goes "Shhhhh" (I posted it here on YouTube) and two for the "Midnight Movie Express" (also on YouTube, but posted by somebody else)). Do you know a place on the internet that I could see that 1984 trailer.

  • hello reed488 this is amckaty24 i use to be amctc10 hope you remeber me lol. anyways is there a way i can make thease amc tunes a ring tone

  • I have no idea if there is a way to use the audio from these trailers as a ring tone.

  • hello reed488 i just read the question down below now a year has pasted ,but anyway as far as i know all amc logos have allway been the same. so sorry for just getting back with you on this. my name on here now is amctc10 and is use to be amctownandcountry10. i hope i answer your question for you

  • Not true. Based upon old movie time listings I have found online, I have seen a listing from as late as 1978 that still called the chain "American Multi-Cinemas" before the name was changed to "AMC Theatres". Also, I have found a movie listing that indicated that the current "AMC" logo has been used since 1981.

  • reed488 your like a big hero to me for putting this on here and for that i thank you so. you have brought back so many memories for me. because during this time period i was going thru a lot and seeing all of this really helped me got thru a lot cause i spend so much time at amc theaters for some peace. thank you so much reed488

  • No problem.

  • hello i am marcus from houston texas and i am a very big fan of amctheaters. thank you so much for all you have put on here from amc. i pray and hope you find more to show

  • i used to be a manager at AMC back in 88-92, i remember when this F.P. trailer came out. Before this one, it was a few hit and misses, with their "There is a Difference" campaign comming out. The sound on this particular one does not do it justice since it is played back in mono. At stereo level, or even in THX the sound is amazing. If I'm not mistaken, this piece won an award of some kind from the company that produced it.

  • i am john hightower and i love amc theaters. thank you for putting thease wonderfull amc tracks i here. thank you i love looking at them. please put more some from the early 80's if possible

  • Unfortunately, because I am not the original possessor of all of these trailers, I do not have any other than those I can find on other websites. I, like you, would also like to see some early 1980s AMC trailers online.

  • Given that you seem to be an AMC aficionado, you might be able to answer this question for me. Do you know when AMC debuted its current typeface logo? I have seen some pictures of the inside of an AMC Theatre that was abandoned in 1985, and it still had some promotional posters up which had the current typeface.
