Yeah, it's amazing that there's even debate about this battle. I don't care how many variations you throw on a headspin, in the end it's just a number of different ways to do one move that doesn't even have to deal with the beat. Footwork may not be as physically impressive as power, but to be a footwork specialist your understanding of the music has to be much greater, and if you're in a dance competition, that obviously is an important skill.

Well u gotta check the real difficulty in the styles that both crews showed. To do a power set, u just practice it till u get it just right. Rocking a beat thats always changing is a lot harder by comparison, cuz if u don know the beat, u have to use your experience and skill to change ur style and hit the beats. If u DO know the beat, its still hard cuz u gotta make sure ur shit is on time; its not like u got a specific set for every song, just has to flow. THATS why Ness and Katsu won.

Well u gotta check the real difficulty in the styles that both crews showed. To do a power set, u just practice it till u get it just right. Rocking a beat thats always changing is a lot harder by comparison, cuz if u don know the beat, u have to use your experience and skill to change ur style and hit the beats. If u DO know the beat, its still hard cuz u gotta make sure ur shit is on time; its not like u got a specific set for every song, just has to flow. THATS why Ness and Katsu won.

a headspin is a bboy move. aichi and kaku are bboys. true they didn't show a lot of the fundamentals of bboying. i don't know what the results were but zulu kings should have taken this one. but don't hate on style. it's not a very good 2v2 style to just do headspins like that but that's how they break and that's how the express themselves and they're pretty damn good at what they do

If kaku and aichi were able to hit the beats with their power moves then they would have a chance winning cuz tats takin it to another level right there. I never really see headspin people tryin to hit beats while they doing headspin.

Here we go with the arguing again. Old school bboying is how breaking even started at all. But nowadays people are making up more and more moves and is considered "break". I, for one, have already accepted the fact that power and style are both forms are bboying; however, there should at least be a LITTLE bit of foundation (at least in my opinion). So we should all just calm down, and watch people break. And on a sidenote: Aichi really can't dance even if his life depended on it LMAO
