  • Again all, thanks for the comments, pity the shuttle is retired but hopefully there will be other events to watch and film.

  • Thank you.

  • Great capture! Love how you got the tank separation on video, never seen it before from this angle.

  • Thanks for the nice comment, hopefully we get clear skies for 133's launch on Nov 30th.

  • @jemmer23 wait a minute, the downrange is usually 600 miles at MECO, wouldn't it be over the Atlantic or did you see after MECO and they both went over Ireland?

  • @timd941

apologies for delay in responding, I only check comments infrequently.

Yes, I'm sure it would be well after MECO by the time we saw it over Ireland but the tanks are still following a similar trajectory although they are losing altitude while the shuttle is still climbing.

  • Wonderful capture. Shuttle less than 100 miles above your head at this point -- in full sunlight and coasting (at five miles per second) towards orbital apogee over the South Pacific. Reddish External Tank already a bit lower and slower and headed for its fiery re-entry break-up over the Indian Ocean. Great work. Thanks !!!

  • Very nice

  • how the hell could ppl have seen it from Ireland when it lunached all the way in flordia 3000 miles away?

  • @charlieiscool1000 Earth is round. I've seen the Shutte from downtown Prague ,Czech Republic, sorry you don't own the sky mate.

  • @charlieiscool1000 Because it flew over ireland as it got into space and it only took 18mins, plus it was night time so u would see it on a clear night sky. I often seen the ISS fly over ireland at night and in the morning as the sun was just rising.

  • @charlieiscool1000 people can see the space shuttle launch from 100 miles away.
