I use warm (not hot) water and often place them in shallow water. One of my cats gets too scared from running water. Might be funny to you, but scary to the baby piglet

@BiohazardBunney Little dogs typically won't care for it, but I can tell you that traditional retrievers for example -love- the water. It really depends more on the breed than simply being a dog.

They are an entirely different kind of pet. You have to stay one step ahead of them all the time, or they'll outsmart you. My potbelly tried to raise ME instead of the other way around, lol.. They are awesome pets, but you need lots of land. All the pigs we have had were rescues, they love to be scratched and played with and can be potty trained. But in a year they are 300+ pounds smelly, scratch the drywall off the house and are best suited fenced in very large yards. You go from sleeping in bed with them to a wild animal.
