Super Mario Galaxy - Lava Spire Daredevil Run

This...was the hardest star in the game to get without a doubt. Harder than any of the purple coin levels. Sure, they were annoying, but I am 99% positive I died more on this one level than on all of the purple coin levels COMBINED. If you slip up once, you die. And you have to start the entire level over again! Although I had an easier time doing this in Luigi mode, oddly enough...

I found out that at the end of the level (rising lava part) taking shortcuts doesn't really help. The lava will follow up with you regardless, then slows down when it gets near you.

It took me so long to beat this. The first time i had 500 star bits from my constant dying, but then i got a game-over and lost them all. When i beat it i had 200 star bits.

This is my favorite mission. It is so easy. Either go slow and take it easy or wing! (Like I did) There are harder ones, trust me.

Oh, also I REALLY HATE THAT F**ING LOW BATTERY ALERT! I really wish you could disable it, considering the fact that it last almost an hour with a low battery, and the game pauses itself if the remote goes dead anyway. Also I can usually tell that its going dead coz the wiimote's speaker will not work right!

Heh heh I'll agree. If they were going to tell you the battery is low, they shouldn't go "BLEEP BLEEP YOUR BATTERY IS ALMOST DEAD DROP EVERYTHING" in your face deal. They should do it like Super Paper Mario.

How does super paper mario do it? Also, one thing is that maybe it could just be an option in the options menu like "low battery alert- on/off". Or maybe it could be "setting 1. No warning" setting 2 "slightly annoying" Setting 3 "really annoying".

My RAZR does that on low battery. It's annoying as h*ll!

In Super Paper Mario, when you hit a Save Block, a message telling you the the Batteries in your Wii-mote are low, then it asks if you want to save.

If anything, the alert in this game could have been less loud or use a different sound.

The funny thing is, everyone seems to find different levels hard. Some people had hell with this level, but could do Bouldergist no problem, then the next person would think the exact opposite. Same with Luigi's coins and Dreadnought and lots of em'.

This is a difficult level this and Bouldegeist are the two hardest levels. The hardest part about this level was that island at 2:37, I died quite a bit there.

Actually I'd probobly have more problems with some of the bosses, like Major Burrows or Bouldergeist, and I HAVE done this star.
