I think he's saying that because the girls need to get under 4:07 and at the pace they're going, they were going they weren't going to make it, that's why he said they were too slow?

i think that is right, but there is this strategy in the 1600m where you start out slower because you then can kick your heart out for the last 600m... regardless, amazing race

Jordan is still too young to compete with some other good runner in the U.S. However, I believe, in 2012 and 2016, the 1500m world will be hers.

Oh I love Jordan!!! She is SoOo LUCKY to be able to compete with these women, but next year for sure she will be there and she will go all the way.
