  • This MUST be the best job in the world!!!! <3 <3

  • @wwwtotalitaerde Please excuse his mental illness. Martin Bott (wwwtotalitaerde) is suffering from a psychosis that makes him believe the government is after him, controlling minds everywhere etc. >_> His allegedly murdered brother even went to court against him because he didn’t want him to use his name for that nonsense. Now he sticks to defaming my country in Youtube videos. He’s a madman and wants to make his shitty conspiracy-homepage look important, nothing else.

  • Honey I'm going to work

  • I think this is much bigger than real one...

  • @sergeant5027 Nope, the Germans made beefy tanks in World War II.

  • @sergeant5027 you think, its wrong. its not a small toy like the sherman ;)

  • big toy for boys

  • Well done good work in Poland was destroyed by him for the rest. Well that came to you and has been restored. Thank you passionate Polish armored vehicles.

    Greetings from Poland

  • By far the sexiest tank of WWII

  • I heard a worker smashed by the tank at 4:46

  • It's an Ausf. A. Vision flap in the front plate and ball mount MG. Great to see it saved.

  • 0:46 lol look at he asphalt getting torn to shreds

  • now to erase those track marks.....

  • i really think that Germans are its best of technologies at that time. tanks are powerful. if you love watching History Channel and Military Channel. you know why they were advance during WWII....

in my opinion. they raised the rumors of UFO's

  • was this the Panther found in the river Czarna Nida in Poland

  • more vidsss please :)

  • imagine that pulling up in your street? WTF?!

  • that s only half a panther

  • The best Soviet tank of times of the Great Patriotic War it Т-34!

  • @HIGHVAASTECH It wasnt that good. Weak armour and weapons. But! The russians hade quantity. So they spammed hundreds of hundreds of tanks. Thats why they overran the germans.

  • Great of you guys to brings these tanks back to life.

Thankyou! Or shall I say, tankyou? :P .... (yeah, that was lame)

  • That's German engineering right there

A shot down WWII German Dornier 17 was also recently found in the English Channel to be in near perfect condition

  • i saw this on greatest tank battles. nice job, one of my favorite tanks.

  • Thats awesome bro...nice work

  • 45 years under water....amazing to see the beast has awoken! truly awesome!

  • Is this the same tank that was being rebuilt on the tank overhaul ?

  • Tanks aren't allowes to drive on roads..

  • just listen to that thing purr

  • Well what do you know, General Patton missed one!

    Excellent job!

  • HEY MAN!!! YOU SCRATCHED MY FLOOR!!!

  • 'hell with the Versailles treaty

  • Someone will need to re encarpet the entrance...

  • Holy crap, that is just an AWESOME project. Germans in WWII had by far the best material, and in my humble opinion their materials looked better then the allied stuff as well. I hope to see this baby in real once!

  • You guys are Heros for fixing this. I'd love to see and hear that up close and personal! Danke!

  • this thing eats and shits out allied tanks.

  • Isn't a panther supposed to break down

  • I saw some about this on military channel, it is a very special thing to have a original panzer, especially one with this type of history! you should treat this thing with some real respect!

  • I wouldn't drive this on nice wood floors

  • I would say you are doing the coooolest thing in the world but I dont want to glorify those genocidale fuckwits! ! but buy god ! ! ! ! could they build tanks !!!!!!!!!

  • Don't crash it into a river again!

  • Best job in the World i think

  • I would gladly give up decades of my life to have been in your shoes! Absolutely wonderful

  • Do you think on the bottom they have a stamp that says made in Germany hmmm gotta check that

  • i believe this beautiful piece of german excellence is a Pz V ausf. A? with a little extra mantle on the rear side armor? i could be mistaken, but it's definitely an early model.

  • @FilipinoZeroFighter It says it was assembled in Feb. '44, so that would be and early A or possibly very late D. Not sure without my reference material handy. I think they did add the ball mount hull MG later on D's.

  • @roadstarman58 looks early.... but that's just me. XD

  • Is this tank meant to be turret-less, or is it half way through a restoration?

  • I'm really impressed, caddydave!! What a beautifull recordings of this restoration!! I would LOVE to help with such a job, but regrettable, I'm not very handy.

  • Fajny glosny silniczek.Dobrze ze sa tacy ludzie ktorzy odrestautowuja takie cudenka a np w Duxfort maja slynna Flying Fortress B 17 Sally B ktora zagrala w filmie memphis Belle tylulowa bochaterke.Mam nadzieje ze kiedys zobacze w rzeczywistoci ten piekny bombowiec

  • Oh man .. That is just gorgeous. The song of that HL230 is - .. Man, I have goosebumps. That is one gorgeous machine.

  • Sehr schön!!! Gute Arbeit!

    Well done! :)

  • i think it misses something... :O

  • One of most beautiful tank of WW2,

it is superior to any allied & russian tanks.

The Germans should have built these instead of stug 4g , panzer I,II,III,IV.

    Respect to German Engineering.

  • @raap009 or they could scrap the Panther, Tiger and King Tiger and mass produced StuG 4 and Pz4 which were the most successfull tanks in the war :P

  • @Slotty Somehow i agree

  • @raap009 The Russian T-34 was also a very good tank, but it was based on experiences with the German tanks during the first days of the war.

It all depends on how you define success. If you take the limited means of the German engineers in account, yes then this was clearly the best thing of the entire war.

  • nice to drive to work

  • Must have cost boatloads of money to restore a submerged tank. Goverment sponsorship?

Love to see this classic tank live again.

To counter doublevision: agree on maybach design but the best tank engine of ww2 is t-34 36 liter diesel. Hard to put on fire, low consumption and good torque. Modern mbt only diesel.

  • @Jellyflesh nope the guyis meg RICH and has a large collection

  • it eat's Shermans and T34's for breakfeast.

  • That is the perfect party vehicle right there. Lose the turret and you could probably pick up alotta chicks in that

  • Like the anti mine paint

  • Love this. German world war II tanks were masterpieces of craftsmanship and design. The Maybach engines were way before there time. Most people think Chrysler invented the Hemi and they get a big surprise when they find Hemi`s were around early in the 20th century. The maybach engines used in these tanks were Hemi`s. Karl Maybach was a genius. Maybach engines made good power considering the weight they had to move. And to think all they had to work with was real poor quality low octane fuel.

  • dear santa ...

  • christ that's really tearing into the concrete! awesome

  • ok this next little phrase Im ashamed of myslef for saying this but scrap the turret. That right there u load ur mates up with a shitload of grog and u hit a night on the town drivin that around smash some car and pick up girls who get horny over armour.

  • What a monster! I'd like that for my commute to work each day.

  • PinkOld well a Tiger Tank rebuild was Littlefields dream, may he rest in peace, and finding one is the problem.

  • So this IS the same hull from Tank Overhaul. Great work, guys.

  • Marvelous! Look at how it chews up the asphalt. Thank you for restoring such a fantastic piece of equipment. The Panther was the best balance of armor and firepower. A great weapon of war.

  • A real pity that the Germans who originally were driving this beast scuttled the turret.

Would have been magnificent to have that original turret on this old girl.

  • @PinkOld Relax about the turret. The original was destroyed when the original crew abandoned the Panther as it sank into the frozen river in Poland. They took measurements of the original pieces of the turret and had a brand new turret created at a foundry in Oakland. Last I saw it, it was painted up and just needed to be installed along with the barrel. Its the most beautiful armored vehicle restoration. If you ever get a chance to see it, DO IT! Nobody does it better than these guys!

  • @F3D2Skynight2

Yeah, I had read another post on here that said they had gotten one built.

I must meant that it would have been really cool to have the stock turret, especially considering the fantastic job they have done on this old girl so far.

I wonder if these guys might tackle restoring a Tiger tank next?

    ;)

  • @PinkOld No one can tell the difference in the turret. Its perfect. Last time I was there, they said that after they finished the Panther, a M-3 Lee was the next project.

  • the remaining 9 people in the same street dont fancy the trackmarks

  • As a former truck, bus, and heavy equipment mechanic, simply thinking about the amount of work required makes me want to break down, and cry. Outstanding job, gentleman! From having spent 45 years at the bottom of a river in Poland, to better than it was when the Heer took delivery!

  • Haha, goodbye tarmac from one single turn :D

  • @mikocoon

    Yes.

  • Looks great !

  • big respect from a german engineer !!! thumbs up!

  • I have two models of this tank.

  • This is one of the early Typ A or D Model. its a real joy to see . WW 2 best outbalanced Tank , MADE IN GERMANY.

  • @Fehnriss Made in Germany is the best label someone can possibly find when looking at a machine or tool.

  • My fathers coworker (passed long ago) was sick of this tank, he lost the left eye. After his tank were hidden by 2 granates, he flew 8 Meters out of the drivers slot. Additional he said, this tank was not repairable on the front, because too complecated. But congratulations to this rebuild. I think to myself, maybe he looks better then new in those days.

  • Drivers response is fast.. looks like pro :)

  • wer da turret at

  • the most beautiful tank ever made, this one looks better than in 44

  • Mum's going to be pissed when she sees what they did to the driveway lol

  • God this is awesome. When is the next episode on Tank Overhaul????

  • It fell in a river while trying to escape air bombardment in Russia so it took a diversion into the woods covered in snow at the time.It came to a small lake but the crew thought it was shallow so they drove straight across it but where caught by how deep it was in middle of the river. The crew then decided that the only way not to let it fall into the hands of the enemy was to set charges in its turret, which completely destroyed the turret. The turret had to be built from scratch for the refurb.

  • Man, that's some piece of machinery! Beautiful! Thanks!

  • I wonder how it got in that river.....

  • @ReaganSmashObama Think Panther was on the show Tank Overhaul it fell though a froozein river when trying to get away from plane attack

  • Twin exhaust and mag wheels. Excellent!

  • What tank number is this Panther?

  • I seent is tank on Tank overhaul tv show

  • Drive over car with this thing

  • god damm the law!why we can't drive tanks on streets? :P

  • out-fucking-staning, virgin mary herself would be proud of what you had done

  • Thx guys. Best show ever. Let us take part at those maybach engines... and those tanks that never build in europe/germany without permission...

  • omg

  • I dont care what other people think, this is the worlds most greatest tank....ever! And the best looking one...ever!

  • @hockeydudeluv Well how can u say this is the best tank ever sure it probally was WW2's best tank design but not the best ever

  • @DaManzMoney , i was thinking the era.....shoot me for the typo

  • Was it normal for that much slop to be in the treads?

  • ahah nice. Id love one thanks!

  • Wow... Awesome...

What a beast... thanx for that.

  • i wuonder where they found all the track links

  • RE: greenthousands

German tank crews painted the camoflauge on their tanks themselves in the field. they were shipped in panzer yellow. there are many pictures showing panzer crews painting their tanks with brooms, so if anything those model builders that spend months painting their tanks with fine detail brushes are the incorrect ones. besides, they got that thing to run, which is more than can be said for the german army at certian times;)

  • holy shit xD

im watching this videos with open mouth like little kid very nice

  • Did you replace the crappy spur gears in the final drive with much more reliable helical gears like in the sherman?

  • Kudos, amazing restoration!!

  • I hope they got their colours correct on the hull of that mighty cat! Modellers will roast them alive for any inaccuracies in the restoration and care of this German war machine. I have to dig up my color swatches and compare next time I'm out to see this beast!

  • Did you already got asked for lending it to a hollywood movie company, making a wwII movie? I'd like to hear the original maybach in HQ on a blu- ray, not like the faked "T-34 Tiger" in Saving Private Ryan =D

  • just FYI: Close to Moscow, Russia, there is the tank museum "Kubinka" - there are at least 3 German tanks that can move: T-IV (captured in several movies), T-V G and T-VI (the last one's engine was overheated a year ago. May be it is restored, but m not sure).

  • I know these are the last of there breed and it cost alomst as much to restore them as it did to build them back in the day but once just once I'd love to see some one open one up all the way in an open feild some where and let it run ! I know they are old but they are still just as tough as the day they were built , they are after all war machines !

  • Any tank that rips holes in concrete must be cool, even if the people who originally designed it did not have a sensible political ideology.

(I do not condone National Socialism or Racism).

  • night work cool

  • no turret.... =(

  • What a beauty!

  • I'd love to use this when I'm stuck in a traffic jam...but with the turret and a few rounds too...

  • @borgomeduna APC ready for combat

  • @borgomeduna Traffic Police: 'do you need a special dispensation from the DVLA for that vehicle sir' Reply: Fire!

  • good job over there...keep them rolling!!!

  • i personaly like the sherman but this tank was the modern modal

  • The Sherman was a death trap.

  • ya but we could make lots of them and they were cheap also for every one panzer tank the germams made we made 10 shermans

  • The quality went in before the Swastica went on. The germans always have made quality goods, but not in numbers. Like there cars.

  • A Sherman tank commander once said if he had the choice of a Tiger Tank or a Sherman tank he would take the Tiger Tank because he saw how the Shermans would go up in flames and the loss of many of his comrades went with them.

  • "The Sherman was a death trap" was a quote from a Sherman Tank commander

  • i swa a dokumentation about the panther, they spoke about this one ^^ ..... its from a tankcollector in the us and A :D

  • Sounds Great!

  • Its very cool that you guys got this old monster rebuilt and running, the panzer were always a favorite of mine.

  • Were the solders still in the tank, underwater?

That must of been creepy seeing dead people..

  • No I saw a show on this tank, they contacted the original crew. They abandoned the tank cause it was hopelessly stuck in the river.

  • I saw that show, the tank was found in Poland.

  • KIngTiger was a piece of crap! Way too big, too slow and too expensive. If it was the best the French would have taken it rather than the Panther. Then Panther was the best.

  • @genmeagher Id hardly call a King tiger a "Peice of crap" It had its issues but it was an awesome Weapon, specially on defense. I doubt youd feel it was crap if you where on the wrong end of the 88

  • @SSBlackAngel I'd rather be on the wrong end of that 88 since there would be dozens of allied tanks behind me, especially the russians, who fielded the improved T34 with 85mm cannon that can blast king tigers. Considering who won the war =)

  • @kasumoto2008 LOL barely won

  • Wow, I never imagine that the chasis itself is soo big and tall. Quite disadvantages for close encounter (side armour also weak). But great tank nevertheless (Frontal armour, guns, speed -ok).

  • Hasn't got the turret on - that makes it ride so high

  • best tank in ww2

  • @TigerMeet2142

no,, the best tank was kingtiger :)

  • ok but you dont have to vote me as a bad comment..... its just my fVORITE

  • @TigerMeet2142

yes... this tank was hell good, but kingtiger was better :D

  • beautiful piece of history

  • and thats why tanks are forbidden on asphalt roads

  • Except for Memorial Day parades.

  • i know but metal tracks on asphalt makes a lot of damage

  • The engine sound how a melody, brbrbrbr

  • I have the same question. How come the Engine parts are still in workable/mill-able conditions after being submerged in water for 60 years?

  • Amazing work. How come, that the motorparts are all stil in such a good condition?

  • rebuild?

  • read description.

  • i have what about it???

  • Quote: "The Maybach engine in this tank is using the original block, crank shaft, connecting rods, connecting rod bearings, pistons, valves, camshafts , heads."

  • Because it was made in Germany :D

  • hey guys thanks for the video. i love to see these types of rebuilds. fantastic job very well done 5 stars

  • It's normal for the engine to have some smaller misfirings, right?

    I keep hearing that "pop..rrrrrrrrrrr(normal maybach sound)rrrr...pop...rrrrr"

  • Lucky bastards... -_-

  • so what is better the tiger or the panther?

  • If you take a look at the complete "package" I'd say Panther, superior mobility and the gun could knock out every allied tank, too.

  • PANTHER, the "holy grail" for tank enthusiasts.

    Let hunt for some T-34's!

  • Beautiful Tank NOW! lest go drive throu a house!

  • 45 years in a river and you can rebuild it back this good...You guys are fantastic !! Thanks for uploading...

  • "hey my dad's got a gun"

"hey that's cool, now come see what I got"

  • if i had one wish, it would to revive all world war 2 tanks, and be mine >=) i would be soo rich, FREE SHERMAN/OR COMWELL FOR THUMPS UP!

  • nice tank i cant beleve you got it oout of a river

  • that is so cool

  • I would love to see it being done.

  • Wow what a monster, congradulation. German Beast

  • Excellent! I'd love to see it up close what a beast! (and a tiger). :)

  • Sweet!

  • german quality! no us stuff ! ;D

  • There's some merit in that, but I argue it was more the fact that that they were rushed into service.

  • Incorrect, initially yes, but after Kursk the Panthers engine was replaced and certain problems were resolved resulting in the Panther being very reliable.

Even Tigers and King Tigers could be reliable if the engines were maintained and serviced regularly in which case they would see little mechanicle trouble. German repair crews were never far away either.

  • How true; too bad more of the misinformed don't know.
