I can read a bible verse one time and it will enlighten me on one application. Then there will be another application and it will totally amaze me that the same verse can apply in a different way. The scientific method, in its purest form, is not inconsistent with scriptural precepts, though it is often misinterpreted and distorted via the doctrinalisation of naturalistic principles to deny the theistic premise.

The good Dr. engineers his analogies to appear relevant to some sort of truth or reality. I hope no one actually thinks this is what he accomplishes. One can apply the same analogies Missler does to The Lord of the Rings yet do little to render its content true. Nice suit, though.
The truth of the word is self evident when one really is looking for truth. It is a vast and layered document revealing the truth of all ages. It is easy to dismiss by the critics because they can categorize it as just another book like Lord of the Rings. But one thing the Bible has no other book religious or not has as a way of differentiating truth from fiction. 40% of it is prophecy and 95% of the prophecy has already been fulfilled to the letter. Do not dismiss it as just another book.

When the bible states that God said, "Let there be light. And there was light." it's referring to the entire physical light spectrum including visible and non visible light; but the bible also compares God to light, but they are talking about a spiritual light.

It's simple. If God commanded something to be done in the old testament, you must understand, it is under his law. It was not a period of grace as we are experiencing now, brought on by the New Testament of Christ's blood. When God commanded his chosen peopld to conquer, it had to be done exactly the way he commanded. Period.

They killed the people that lived there. This was because they had not come to support the other tribes. Some may think that this seems cruel. Actually you'd be surprised at what's been lost in translation. NT Greek scholar Prof Bart Ehrman has written quite a few books concerning this subject. I advise you to have a gander.
I won't say Moses wrote Genesis. I actually adhere to the documentary hypothesis WRT the authorship of Genesis (and the rest of the Pentateuch)

And when the comforter came in the book of the Acts of the Apostles, he came in great power. We need that great power more today than ever. May the Holy spirit of God comfort all those who long for his presence and call upon God for his power. The good Dr. engineers his analogies to appear relevant to some sort of truth or reality. I hope no one actually thinks this is what he accomplishes. One can apply the same analogies Missler does to The Lord of the Rings yet do little to render its content true. Nice suit, though.

The truth of the word is self evident when one really is looking for truth. It is a vast and layered document revealing the truth of all ages. It is easy to dismiss by the critics because they can categorize it as just another book like Lord of the Rings. But one thing the Bible has no other book religious or not has as a way of differentiating truth from fiction. 40% of it is prophecy and 95% of the prophecy has already been fulfilled to the letter. Do not dismiss it as just another book.
