  • @TrollSlayer2001 Sounds generic. Hearing "8-bit" makes me think most people only mean "NES chiptune" and almost never think of GB, GBC, CM64, Atari 2600, SMS, Game Gear nor any other console. But I recently noticed that people are now using the instruments of specific 8-bit and 16-bit games to convert other kinds of music into. FCEngine's channel has some good examples.

  • Hrm. This works well enough, but now I'm curious as to how an orchestrally arranged version would sound...

    I picture the percussion being done by hammers on metal tubes to mix the sense of robotic construction with music boxes for the toy feelings, and fiddles because... they're violins.
