Kepe practising this one man.. you have a great start.. your timing is near perfect. I would suggest dropping down to the 1st fret of the A string for the second note of the main riff, and the 4th fret of the A for the fourth note. Try this instead of sliding around the neck, and you'll have less string buzzing.

he's just playing the power chords in a different position than most people (myself included) play it. that doesn't make it wrong. For example, the second note in the intro progression is B flat. That can either be played on the first fret of the A string or the 6th fret of the E string.
