Oh man, that's awesome you have three copies of Giant Size X-men #1. You seem to have a lot of Silver Age stuff, do you have anything from the Golden Age?
Captain, Do you have any Pulp magazines? Great cover art on those. I like "The Spider". I am taking a Speech class in college and did a speech on comic book collecting. Got an A! Next speech is going to be on Pulps. Your channel is like a Masters Degree program in comic books. Thanks!
Awesome -- 3 GSXM #1s. I am so jealous! I finally got my hands on one and paid an arm and a leg for it. I'll be posting a video on it at some point. Very cool stuff -- love the Flash book too!
Cap'n!!! Isnt it great to open boxes that have been sealed for years! when i started to post my comic vids, I was opening boxes that i ahd not looked in for almost 15 years!!! @ of my favorites are Strande Tales Annual 1-2! So very Silver age! G.S. X.M. #1....wow!! That Flash Gordon is a nice gem. Thats a Harvey comic, art, if memory serves, was done by Alex Raymond. HOS 92, first Swamp Thing, great Berni Wrightson cover. Thank ya for the plug in the info bar!!!! Appreciate that!!
OMG your so lucky to have that Giant size X-Men 1...THREE OF THEM!!! I tried to look up if I had Spider-man 238 cause it looked familiar and I dont, gotta go on the search for that. And house of secrets 92 -_-, I really need to go back and get some older books. You have amazing Bronze and silver age books!
@archangel0891 Ohh Noo I don't think i do and now i'm going to feel bad about it. I always wanted to score a collection of vintage Beano Comics but that has not happened yet.
Firstly can I just say WOW, then I need to pick my jaw up off the floor, if I only I could find a box like that stored away in the attic or somewhere like that. And having 3 Giant Size X-Men #1 in your collection is just greedy sir LOL !!
I cannot wait to see what else is in that mystery box !!
@GhostCritic Thanx for that nice comment! One of those X-Men Giant Size #1's was purchased by me from the news stand when it first came out and the others i picked up within a couple of years of their release and i just held on to them, so i guess it was fortunate i did! BTW i just added u to my favorite list of people to sub on my home channel, because i love your videos. Take care and be well!
awesome video, i love getting to see all the old X-men, they are by far my favorite comics, i hope to have 1 - 544 one day and seeing what you have keeps me dedicated, as always great video

@captainstrangelife I'm only joking. You've been collecting for like what 30 years. The good thing about the internet is now we get to all kinda enjoy your comics.
Wow Cap, this was an Awesome video !!! I myself have three copys of GSX #1 and your copys are in Amazing condition !!! Like the Iron-Man #55's and King-Size X-Men #1 + you also have a copy of House of Secrets #92 1st. Swamp Thing, love it !!! I should talk to the people of Mylar and have them use my line lol, =D !$!$ Great video Cap, cant wait to see the rest *Cheers !!!
I thought i was doin good when i found a $20 in the pocket of my freshly washed blue jeans... dam what a nice find...wa wa what was that you said about "Atom-Age" comics... have not heard that term before....please explain... you are soo funny "oh wow its the 1st app of swamp thing"... no big whoop.... anyone else would do a back flip for that book
@Cacti88 Iv'e been saying for 30 years that the golden age ended in 1946 and the silver age started 1956 and that the period in-between has to be called something like atomic or atom age. Now finally Overstreet agrees and is referring to this intermediary period as the Atom Age!
I did my top ten, but with a twist, check my video and maybe the way I did it will help you a bit....nice strange tales annual 2...triple the fun with X-Men one...I really love that Flash Gordon, it's awesome...1st Swamp Thing is also cool...amazing what you find in a box, Hans.... :) ....have a great week, my friend
