@brammatie2 do you know what not ll factory farms are like this but those people,, i hope they die, they are living things and they treat them like this !
We human beings are very cruel creature. We take control of creatures lower than us for our advantage. Every creature is equally created by God anyways. So why must we do this?
we are all sheep in this world and while we have to abide by the laws I think we have a choice about what we eat so while you waste you're time debating about the topics, issues at hand the government, companies, any associates are going to having a great christmas on their yacht's, flying in their nice shiny planes to be with family and friends. I know in my heart and in my mind I will be thinking about other people and animals that are suffering that are as fortunate as me.
can anyone tell me how often this happens in factory farming? I mean the cruelty that happens. I just want to learn more about how wide scale this abuse REALLY is.
@MiakoKoneo there are only statistics to show but you can educate yourself in lots of ways, thats what I have started doing by firstly avoiding buying products from companies that still test on animals, I'm not an activist but I'm educating myself and making better choices with the knowledge and these aren't scare tatics, they're very real and its etrocious what these animals endure. I feel sorry for the workers there I really do because they have a family to feed themselves.
@emmijadeable thank you...i guess lol. ill keep trying to do research. As for the puppy mill thing i totally agree,we should be buying from a pound not a pet store!
@cole3454657 Roughly 90% of all meat and other animal foods are made this way. 1 in 3 meat eaters get cancer. Being vegan nearly eleminates your risk of getting preventable cancer.
@UmbreonAndEspeon1 90%? are you sure? i spend alot of time out in fields spanning southern alberta and the cattle are treated like royalty compared to wild animals. there is nothing wrong with their lives whatsoever. obviously "that way" is a rarity. since when do that many people get cancer? how does meat ionize cells? it dosent unless you find a way that it could ionize cells, i think your trying too hard troll.
@UmbreonAndEspeon1 so you accept that you pulled that cancer thing out of your ass? ok. if your comments follow a troll like pattern one more time, im not responding.
Our grandchildren will label our treatment of animals a holocaust, and they will not be able to understand how we could have been such monsters. Isaac Bashevis Singer calls it our Eternal Treblinka for Animals. Every minute that people are silent, people are guilty, and damned by God. Soon, we will be visited with a plague that will make the 1350's seem like a picnic. Amen.
ATTENTION: I am an artist and I've entered a contest to get animals' voices out. I need support. For anybody who won't understand in the beginning, at the end of the video you realize that I'm speaking on behalf of an ape.
If you can, check my channel and like and comment the first video ("dEVILution"), it would help A LOT. There's a lot of people ahead of me in the contest and I need to catch up. MUCH APPRECIATED, it will go a long way. Thank you very much.
@MrBagginsEsq When a horse gets real old or is no longer useful they a lot of times are put down and become dog food. I have never heard of any people eating horse.
No one in my family agrees with me that this is wrong....they all think the human race is more important. I think we should treat the animals naturally with no man made crap. Animals should have as much right as us as we are animals. The animal should not meet the consumers needs it should meet its needs. I wont touch anything unless i know for a fact where its come from how its treated and how it is killed. Whoever made this video your awesome....maybe people will start to see its wrong.
@flake452 I wouldnt say that. Look more than half the population eat meat. So do I. Its the people that treat and kill the animals. If the factory farming was better controlled and they would kill the animals properly instead of actully stunning the animals wrong and slit there throat alive I would eat factory meat.. But I dont i eat family farm meat.
@ComedyAndAction I eat meat just not factory farmed meat that has lived a life of just suffering, if you eat factory farmed meat then you are supporting the torture of animals.
@ComedyAndAction I hear you're voice and sadly these workers are under pressure to get the job done we have to start thinking practical about the realities of everyone involved
No empathy = psychopathy as the video "freedom from conscience - psychopaths" points out. Our government seems to want more factory farms -- yes, they are efficient if your only goal is pound of meat per acre but they are cruel.
this is so so sad. im glad i dont have to eat products produced from the pain and suffering of these poor innocent creatures. what monsters humans have become.
These videos do nothing for me! I will continue eating animal products. World hunger isn't because of meat eating nor is it my problem. Its not my problem how the animals are treated either. I eat them not cry over them.
@lovebigboobs29 i find your comment extremely arrogant, and judging by your favourite videos a great fan of breasts. well i would just like to ask you to consider other peoples views, and even if it's not your problem can't you simple realise that this is cruel. Just because your not you directly causing it, doesn't make it right. it may cause problems for our economy and food industry which will be your problem. this is a huge issue and can't believe how single minded and perverted you can be.
@IAMAVERAGEsimon Oh well that's your opinion and no I don't consider it cruel. Its business. They supply meat and dairy and I choose to consume it. It won't hurt the economy at all. I see no huge issue nor like I said this isn't my problem or do I see it as wrong. WOW I am a guy and I like boobs call me a pervert if you wish but your opinion doesn't mean shit to me.
I'm a vegetarian, and something I hate is factory farming. I won't tell you eating meat is wrong (even though that's my view) but factory farming is. Even if you don't care about animals, you should care about humanity as these farms endanger the world each day. They waste antibiotics because of the poor conditions animals are kept in, meaning resistant diseases breed. One day, we will not be able to make a new drug to combat these diseases. And that day is getting closer and closer...
@terrillcase1 Eating meat by itself doesn't make you bad -- but eating meat of animals that have been raised in extremely cruel conditions, then going onto youtube to brag about it? Yeah, that makes you a prick.
@terrillcase1 Well, it's hard to argue logically with someone who didn't use logic to reach their conclusion. But relishing in the suffering of others because you enjoy it is basically the definition of what makes someone a bad human being.
Also, you don't have to fucking eat animals to live. Have you ever heard of plants? Jesus fucking christ. It's ridiculously easy to get all the nutrients you need without eating meat. There's no rational excuse for eating it, it's just something people do because they like the taste and don't give a shit about their fellow creature. That's simply all there is to the issue.
@elmarino2011 You do realise that the major reason why people starve in Africa and other such countries is BECAUSE of the Western world's obsession with meat? Meat is wasteful, you get less food and energy from it than you put in. We should be using our space to grow crops that can feed many more people. But no. People won't accept that, because it would mean giving up their delicious bacon or whatever. If America cut it's meat by 10%, you could feed thousands of starving people with the
@KitKat1395 I don't live in africa or other starving places so I will continue eating what I want. I am not cutting my meat consumption. I have money and will buy as I choose. Its my freedom of choice!
@lovebigboobs29 I didn't tell you what you can and can't eat, I'm saying be aware of the actual facts. And by the way, you sound extremely selfish. You're damn lucky you live in a country that has food, never forget that you could have been born somewhere rife with starvation and illness. It's all the Western world's fault that there's millions dying, don't you ever forget that... Oh, and have fun when you get stomach cancer and other assorted illnesses that are related to meat consumption... :)
@KitKat1395 Actually meat doesn't cause stomache cancer or anything like that. Everyone in my whole family tree eats meat and are healthy with no problems. Well like I said I am a place with food so I am good. Its not our fault anyways so.
@lovebigboobs29 You're at a higher risk of bowel cancer by eating red meats; your body overproduces acid to digest meat; our digestive systems aren't made for meat; it's unhealthy and eating factory farmed crap is one of the main reasons countries like UK and America are having obesity problems; if you live in America, your meat is full of drugs anyway; factory farming wastes vital antibiotics and is leading us to a severe health system collapse... I could go on and on, but like I said...
@lovebigboobs29 ...It's your choice. You can eat what you like, I hate it when people attack me for being veggie, I'm just laying out some facts. "It's not our fault" well, if America cut it's meat consumption by 10%, you could feed thousands in starving countries. The UN even recognises that the Western world's insane meat farming is causing worldwide starvation. It requires far more energy and resources to make your meal than what you get out of it. There's some useful foody information!
@KitKat1395 No I am good as is. I don't care what the UN recognizes or says. Its my money I will buy as I choose. I dont care how much energy and resources it requires. I like meat and will continue consuming it.
@lovebigboobs29 Jesus dude. Just because your family never got an illness from something doesn't mean we can now defy science. I totally think you should eat whatever you want, however I feel it's VERY irresponsible for you to say it's not your fault. It is your fault animals are treated like this if you buy their product. If no one allowed this to go on and only bought from responsible handlers of the animals then they'd be forced to change their ways. Think about it, dude.
@ascribble16 Oh well I will continue buying their product its not my problem how the animals are treated I could give a fuck less really. Also most science agrees a balanced diet is the best with meat included. Moderating red meat to twice a week and eating more lean chicken or fish. Only people saying the vegan diet is best are vegan scientists or doctors. Real nutrition classes agree with what I said also. I have taken 2 different nutrition classes. So if its my FAULT lol oh fuckin well.
@lovebigboobs29 I read a great book that's contrary to "meat in your diet is best", it says that actually, humans might not be made to eat meat as our stomachs are much longer than carnivores, and we overproduce acid... Yes we're omnivores, but what if that was a forced diet change from herbivores because of something like food availablility? Hmmmmmm
@KitKat1395 We will always have meat thats why we breed them by the millions. Nice try tho and your book is full of crap. We digest meat just fine. Nice try tho.
@lovebigboobs29 Compare our stomachs to that of carnivores, theres a huge difference (I'm not making this up - we evolved from herbivores, not carnivores, human biology shows this) Our stomachs are far far lnger than that of a carnivore, our teeth are very different, your meat takes far longer to digest than other foods because of the size of the individual fibres (is that what you call them?) We also naturally don't produce as much acid as carnivores. I think "meat is great" is hugely overrated
@lovebigboobs29 but anyway I'm not trying to argue, it's nothing to do with me what food you eat., I just think that if more people actually knew the facts about their food, we wouldn't have huge health and starvation problems... :)
@elmarino2011 ...crops you'd grow instead. Also, biologically there is evidence humans aren't built for meat. Our stomachs and such is far longer than that of a meat eater. Meat takes much longer than normal foods to digest. And don't tigers and lions eat their prey's stomach and organs BEFORE the actual meat? We don't do that... isn't that saying something? Nuts and the like are a much healthier source of protein than meat. Even if you like meat, you should not support factory farms.
...I'm not saying you're bad for eating meat. I'm just giving you some facts. I'm not trying to "convert" you, what you eat is your choice, but you should make an informed one with the facts. I get people complaining when I tell them facts on food. But there's nothing wrong with forcing a life of meat on children wiothout informing them first, yet it's "child abuse" if you raise a child vegetarian? I've had these thrown at me, they're very hypocritical things to say.
@UmbreonAndEspeon1 We're omnivores but due to our superior intellectual abilities we can choose conscious living over barbaric practices. The world would be better off on the vegan/vegetarian diet.
@UmbreonAndEspeon1 indeed better living conditions for both humans and our neighboring species, the people involved in these industries are either desperate for money or plain sick in the head. Free-range and or organic farming is a step above the current mold but overall we should gradually evolve to be vegetarians/vegans. The earth nourishes and sustains our being every day the least we could do is live consciously before we are eradicated from the planet. Lol
@lovebigboobs29 People like you disgust me! Not only do you not give a shit about animals, you clearly see women as just a pair of tits! I hope you suffer as much as these animals have!
@lovebigboobs29 your life is nothing but a sad waste of space what have these animals ever done to you? these chickens are definately smarter than you are - greedy arse hole!
@PhoebeLuvzTheAnimals My life is awesome!! Who gives a fuck what the animals did to me lol they are delicious!! No i am very intelligent and am definately smarter then a fuckin dumb animal.
THE TWO MOST EMINENT GENIUSES, ALBERT EINSTEIN AND LEONARDO DA VINCI WERE KNOWN TO BE VEGETARIANS. WAY AHEAD OF THEIR TIME!! BTW I'M VEGAN AND PPROUD!!!!!!
Thats not fair. Thats just not FREAKING FAIR! Do cats get abused like that ( i know some do but im talking about cats in general.) Same with dogs. How come they dont go to factory farms like that huh?? I love dogs and cats and all animals and im not saying cats should be eaten but i feel so bad for farm animals, it just not fair!
@SmilesforFairies I don't know how much you've heard/seen about puppy mills, but... yeah. Millions and millions of dogs, cats, small rodents, etc. are treated almost identically.
@Apalis01 Yes i've heard of puupy mills. But what i meant down there was that i was talking about dogs in general. theres more pigs being killed than dogs.
Also when you hear the word dog you think of a cute cuddly pet
When you think of a pig you think of bacon
Pigs are very smart and they can do about everything a dog can, so what i was saying is that it's not fair for farm animals
@SmilesforFairies there are puppy mills which churn out litter after litter in the same way to satisfy the public needs for pets. The sad fact is that we as consumers support this multi billion dollar industry which makes the companies rich because we demand meat on our plates almost every night. We don't want the suffering of the animals but we want the best money can buy. So they're only satisfying our needs and making alot of money off of us.
@piepeace Its not murder because it is legal. So vegetarian? Not Vegan? Do you eat eggs or anything containing eggs such as cakes and snickers? Because the life of a battery hen is total suffering and free range chickens live a decent life, I would rather eat a free range chicken than eat an egg of a battery hen.
Actually, in all honesty, if more people went for a veg/vegan diet or even reduced their meat consumption, it would bring back the small farmers that DON'T treat their animals like this. Of course, if there is a huge demand for meat and animal products it is going to stay like this. Even IF the small farmers come back, the vegans and vegetarians should not go back to eating meat, for it would just stimulate huge demand again. It would be best to keep the demand for ppl that WONT go veg at all.
There is a solution, you guys. Actually, there are several. Buy your meat and eggs from local, organic farms from people you know and trust. FIND OUT where your food comes from. YOU as the CONSUMER have the power. Support locally grown and organic farms, and the others will eventually die out. Support legislation in favor of animal welfare. Ask your local supermarkets to stock free-range goods. Or you can be a vegetarian like me. xD Either way, just remember that WE have the power to stop this.
I really wish I could get my meat from a family farm.
But it's not under my control, sadly.
Though this is never going to change, the fact that the majority of the meat will come from factory farms. Since the day we walked this earth, we begin destroying things. Not to mention we love having control over lesser beings, too much. Hence the lack of sympathy in their treatment of the animals.
@RomyLikezCuppycakes It's easy to feel that way when you see things like this. After all, the human race is overpopulated and in dire need of an easy way to provide food for so many hungry mouths. The best thing we can do is limit and refine our consumption as individuals, and spread the word. Also (if you live in the U.S.) you should check out Temple Grandin. She is an avid supporter of humane slaughter and transport methods. It's a grisly subject, but one that definitely needs to be addressed.
A very moving and - because it wasn't preachy - effective film. I eat meat - and may continue to do so - but I am suddenly extremely concerned about how it came from the live animal to my plate.
Animals are peaceful, innocent; causing them pain traumatises them and diminishes us.
@OlgaTheBrownFox theres nothin wrong with that theres less fat and it tastes better because its pasture fed unlike feedlots which feed mostly corn. comming from a farming family myself i can honestly say most farmers would never do that because it impacts there revenue if ur against this type of stuff 80% of factory farmed meat is meant to go to fastfood outlets and the rest goes to major grocery stores if u could find a small butcher shop that also sells meat u would bypass all of that
Only way is to make factory farms inefficient. I mean bying meat and eggs from family farms etc. I know it is more expensive, but is healthier, and better in taste, not to mention humane way of aquiring meat. Don't have to be vegan, humans need meat as well as fruit and vegetables. We are omnivores afterall
@BadBoy1986PL I would have to dispute your claim about our omnivorous natures. It was necessary when we were opportunistic hunter-gatherers and ate what we could find, but just keep in mind that it is no longer a necessity in our advanced society. There are other ways to acquire the nutrients our bodies need. Of course, there are some people that have no other choice, like those prone to certain health issues. But anyone otherwise is just making excuses. And please don't take this the wrong way.
THEY HAVE HEARTS OF ICE im glad my uncle treats his animals good im never going to be like THESE cold hearted people they dont even have a pasion for farming.
The only problem with organic meat or anything is it is 2 to 3 times more expensive than the regular stuff. I hate that, the government and all these health nuts tell us that we should eat more healthy but when you go to the store all the healthy stuff is too expensive. Bread is an example, at Wal-Mart a loaf of white bread costs $1.29 or so but whole wheat costs about 50-75 cents more. I shop at Aldi's now because all of their bread is the same price now, but I'm just saying
@nirvanafannn I have never tried it. I have thought about trying things vegetarian but haven't yet. Anyways, the problem is it is probably way more expensive than regular meat. I am a meat eater through and through. If I ever try that stuff you are talking about and like it then I might eat it every once in a while to keep the calories down. Good night and God Bless.
horse slaughtering is illeagal in america now thanks to peta there is a surplus of horses and more are suffering from people not feeding them because they have too many and people wont buy them because there not worth anything. so you can thank peta for some of the suffering animals go through
we own a farm and we dont farm like the 1st we let out cows out in a pasture and if we have one thats dying we usually kill it quick with a bullet and not let it suffer. but there is one thing i saw that id like to point out some of these videos are old their from the 80's and early 90's not many people farm like the 1st half of the video any more and its illeagal to slaughter horses in america now because of peta there is a surplus of horses and they aint worth anything
On a different note, take this senario into your mind. Line up, on one side, a hungary pack, pride or individual of each of the top predators in the world. Lion, Hyena,Tiger, Wolf, Wild Dog, Grizzly/Polar Bear, leopard, Cheatah, Croc, Shark, killer Whale etc etc. Then place the HUMAN RACE on the other side, Then inbetween those two lines, place a line of people that attack Human rights in favour of animal rights. All this in an enclosed space (The World), no other sources of food or water.
okay, if people see this video, i can understand why they would become a vegetarian... But what you see in this vid are people who lost their minds. The man who kicks and hits that cow is just an idiot who doesn't know how to treat animals. Every farmer with a bit of common sense treats his animals well, and not like the way you see in this video. This is not how things are like at normal farms!
@miniplaat please do not search for excuses. This is NOT the only video where animals are threated like that. Theres no farm where they kill them humanly. Its not even possible. People always want to walk away from the problem ,they turn their heads away from cruelty and try to believe everything is OK.
Well ,It's not OK. You cannot unknown what you k already KNOW.
I DONT FUCKING UNDERSTAND HOW HUMANS CAN DO THIS!! Humans should be smarter then animals they say. But like I've seen humans more stupid. All sick fucks who like seeing animals suffer, you deserve the double!
I love factory farming, all those additives and antibiotics go into my body from the healthy meat, I guess thats why Ill probably live twice as long as I would have done a couple of hundred years ago,,,,,,,,,,,,
@pe0147k7678 why would you say that? all of the perservitves and everything else makes you die faster. before people used to live to see 100 years old now people are dying in their 60's and 70's. those additives and antibiotics aren't made for humans. you need to watch the video again, cause you oviously didn't look at the facts
@zakarazh Preservities????? I never mentioned preservities,,,,,,,,,PRESERVATIVES are added to food to prevent it from rotting after its death or harvesting........... I said 200 years ago Id be lucky to live to 40 due to poor diet and hygene, NOW I can expect to live untill im 80,,,,, So make a CHOICE, die young, MALNOURISHED and save a COW, or mass produce Healthy FOOD for everyone and live twice as long,,,,, A VERY SIMPLE EQUATION FOR THE MAJORITY OF HUMANS
CJD was caused by feeding sheep carcass to cows. Rather than cow to cow and creating BSE, after a while the infected cow carcass' were fed to other cows. The disease in sheep scrapie had never spread to humans it was only after it crossed from sheep to cow that it mutated and spread to humans. CJD is a hellish disease created by man through greed.
So many false statements written on here. Someone said that if they didn't use antibiotics then the animals would get sick? Wellll maybe if they gave the animals spacious sanitary living conditions then they would not have the high risk of contracting diseases, also if you consume or handle that meat you are at risk of becoming antibiotic resistant.Antibiotics will no longer cure you becasue you can become immune to them. Please stop making comments about something you aren't educated on.
@MrEthereality or maybe he eats meat produced on farms he knows personally and has studied carefully to make sure theyre humane, thats not contributing to cruelty, thats just life. You dont now the backstory, dont come up with a wild statement.
Considering that 99.9% of people haven't, I think I'm safe to say that. Also, if you have the choice between killing and not killing, I'd opt for not. We're not cavemen who are required to kill in order to survive.
Don't like the way it's done? I wish every cattle producer, farmer, hog producer, everyone involved in feeding the WORLD, could hold their crops and animals for one year. Then I don't think it would matter to the hungry masses where their food comes from. "Organic" production of cattle involves not administering antibiotics when an animal becomes ill. Is THAT humane? I've never found that watching my cattle die was very entertaining, but if that's what you're into, then be my guest.
@NYLISE1 It might not matter to the hungry people, but it WILL ALWAYS matter to the animals that have a fate that makes their life meaningless. Some male baby chickens dont get a chance to live! Cows made for meat = we eat it. THEIR lives would sadly just mean about nothing but food, for US!
@Emmerara - Thank you, I agree we are meat eaters first and foremost
@101101101777 - Animals are critical to our diets. In order for us to live, others must die. It's the circle of life.
@dschaefers - I agree with the last person I responded to...fuck you. It's 'country folk' like you who have fed us this crappy meat. So just shut up and pasture your animals and fucking treat them right.
Oooh so it's ok as long as we slaughter them AFTER grassy meadows, ok and you played micael jackson so organic free range must be a better form of exploitation. stupid.
To think I could be so precious to the sick dying ones on the ground and the only one who gets to be with them are FUCKING ASSHOLES WHO KICK THEM WHEN THEY ARE DOWN. YOU PIECES OF SHIT SHOULD HAVE YOUR FUCKING BALLS AND HEADS RIPPED THE FUCK OFF
Until all you vegan freaks can get the U.S. people to get off there asses and milk there own cows and feed there own cattle for there own needs you aint got a chance at this. Its to the point where there is so much money in the ag industry that you city slickers really dont have a chance on fighting this or even a clue where to start. So you can start by going to your local store and buying a nice prime rib so us beef producers can THRIVE! Oh ya and just simply shut up and eat.
animals shouldnt be slaughtered for food anyway....!!!!

Soon, we will be visited with a plague that will make the 1350's seem like a picnic. Amen.

If you can, check my channel and like and comment the first video ("dEVILution"), it would help A LOT. There's a lot of people ahead of me in the contest and I need to catch up. MUCH APPRECIATED, it will go a long way. Thank you very much.

KitKat1395 3 months ago
@terrillcase1 Eating meat by itself doesn't make you bad -- but eating meat of animals that have been raised in extremely cruel conditions, then going onto youtube to brag about it? Yeah, that makes you a prick.
Darktree512 3 months ago
@terrillcase1 Well, it's hard to argue logically with someone who didn't use logic to reach their conclusion. But relishing in the suffering of others because you enjoy it is basically the definition of what makes someone a bad human being.

JenkemBOMBS 4 months ago
@elmarino2011 You do realise that the major reason why people starve in Africa and other such countries is BECAUSE of the Western world's obsession with meat? Meat is wasteful, you get less food and energy from it than you put in. We should be using our space to grow crops that can feed many more people. But no. People won't accept that, because it would mean giving up their delicious bacon or whatever. If America cut it's meat by 10%, you could feed thousands of starving people with the
KitKat1395 3 months ago
@KitKat1395 I don't live in africa or other starving places so I will continue eating what I want. I am not cutting my meat consumption. I have money and will buy as I choose. Its my freedom of choice!
lovebigboobs29 3 months ago
@lovebigboobs29 I didn't tell you what you can and can't eat, I'm saying be aware of the actual facts. And by the way, you sound extremely selfish. You're damn lucky you live in a country that has food, never forget that you could have been born somewhere rife with starvation and illness. It's all the Western world's fault that there's millions dying, don't you ever forget that... Oh, and have fun when you get stomach cancer and other assorted illnesses that are related to meat consumption... :)
KitKat1395 3 months ago
@KitKat1395 Actually meat doesn't cause stomache cancer or anything like that. Everyone in my whole family tree eats meat and are healthy with no problems. Well like I said I am a place with food so I am good. Its not our fault anyways so.
lovebigboobs29 3 months ago
@lovebigboobs29 You're at a higher risk of bowel cancer by eating red meats; your body overproduces acid to digest meat; our digestive systems aren't made for meat; it's unhealthy and eating factory farmed crap is one of the main reasons countries like UK and America are having obesity problems; if you live in America, your meat is full of drugs anyway; factory farming wastes vital antibiotics and is leading us to a severe health system collapse... I could go on and on, but like I said...
KitKat1395 3 months ago
@lovebigboobs29 ...It's your choice. You can eat what you like, I hate it when people attack me for being veggie, I'm just laying out some facts. "It's not our fault" well, if America cut it's meat consumption by 10%, you could feed thousands in starving countries. The UN even recognises that the Western world's insane meat farming is causing worldwide starvation. It requires far more energy and resources to make your meal than what you get out of it. There's some useful foody information!
KitKat1395 3 months ago
@KitKat1395 No I am good as is. I don't care what the UN recognizes or says. Its my money I will buy as I choose. I dont care how much energy and resources it requires. I like meat and will continue consuming it.

@lovebigboobs29 Fair enough, I wasn't telling you what you can and can't eat, I was just posting some foody information! :P
KitKat1395 3 months ago
@lovebigboobs29 Jesus dude. Just because your family never got an illness from something doesn't mean we can now defy science. I totally think you should eat whatever you want, however I feel it's VERY irresponsible for you to say it's not your fault. It is your fault animals are treated like this if you buy their product. If no one allowed this to go on and only bought from responsible handlers of the animals then they'd be forced to change their ways. Think about it, dude.
ascribble16 3 months ago
@ascribble16 Oh well I will continue buying their product its not my problem how the animals are treated I could give a fuck less really. Also most science agrees a balanced diet is the best with meat included. Moderating red meat to twice a week and eating more lean chicken or fish. Only people saying the vegan diet is best are vegan scientists or doctors. Real nutrition classes agree with what I said also. I have taken 2 different nutrition classes. So if its my FAULT lol oh fuckin well.
lovebigboobs29 3 months ago
@lovebigboobs29 I read a great book that's contrary to "meat in your diet is best", it says that actually, humans might not be made to eat meat as our stomachs are much longer than carnivores, and we overproduce acid... Yes we're omnivores, but what if that was a forced diet change from herbivores because of something like food availablility? Hmmmmmm
KitKat1395 3 months ago
@KitKat1395 We will always have meat thats why we breed them by the millions. Nice try tho and your book is full of crap. We digest meat just fine. Nice try tho.
lovebigboobs29 3 months ago
@lovebigboobs29 Compare our stomachs to that of carnivores, theres a huge difference (I'm not making this up - we evolved from herbivores, not carnivores, human biology shows this) Our stomachs are far far lnger than that of a carnivore, our teeth are very different, your meat takes far longer to digest than other foods because of the size of the individual fibres (is that what you call them?) We also naturally don't produce as much acid as carnivores. I think "meat is great" is hugely overrated
KitKat1395 3 months ago
@KitKat1395 I live in the US we will always have meat available :)
lovebigboobs29 3 months ago
@lovebigboobs29 but anyway I'm not trying to argue, it's nothing to do with me what food you eat., I just think that if more people actually knew the facts about their food, we wouldn't have huge health and starvation problems... :)
KitKat1395 3 months ago
@KitKat1395 lol ok
lovebigboobs29 3 months ago
@elmarino2011 ...crops you'd grow instead. Also, biologically there is evidence humans aren't built for meat. Our stomachs and such is far longer than that of a meat eater. Meat takes much longer than normal foods to digest. And don't tigers and lions eat their prey's stomach and organs BEFORE the actual meat? We don't do that... isn't that saying something? Nuts and the like are a much healthier source of protein than meat. Even if you like meat, you should not support factory farms.
KitKat1395 3 months ago
...I'm not saying you're bad for eating meat.

@Apalis01 Yes i've heard of puupy mills. But what i meant down there was that i was talking about dogs in general. theres more pigs being killed than dogs.

In the "family farm idea" animals are still murdered. Why still be responsible for the millions of deaths when you could go vegetarian?
piepeace 5 months ago 4
@piepeace Its not murder because it is legal. So vegetarian? Not Vegan? Do you eat eggs or anything containing eggs such as cakes and snickers? Because the life of a battery hen is total suffering and free range chickens live a decent life, I would rather eat a free range chicken than eat an egg of a battery hen.
flake452 2 months ago
Actually, in all honesty, if more people went for a veg/vegan diet or even reduced their meat consumption, it would bring back the small farmers that DON'T treat their animals like this. Of course, if there is a huge demand for meat and animal products it is going to stay like this. Even IF the small farmers come back, the vegans and vegetarians should not go back to eating meat, for it would just stimulate huge demand again. It would be best to keep the demand for ppl that WONT go veg at all.

SlymeGreen 5 months ago
There is a solution, you guys. Actually, there are several. Buy your meat and eggs from local, organic farms from people you know and trust. FIND OUT where your food comes from. YOU as the CONSUMER have the power. Support locally grown and organic farms, and the others will eventually die out. Support legislation in favor of animal welfare. Ask your local supermarkets to stock free-range goods. Or you can be a vegetarian like me. xD Either way, just remember that WE have the power to stop this.

unana00i 6 months ago
I really wish I could get my meat from a family farm.
But it's not under my control, sadly.
Though this is never going to change, the fact that the majority of the meat will come from factory farms. Since the day we walked this earth, we begin destroying things. Not to mention we love having control over lesser beings, too much. Hence the lack of sympathy in their treatment of the animals.
RomyLikezCuppycakes 6 months ago
@RomyLikezCuppycakes It's easy to feel that way when you see things like this. After all, the human race is overpopulated and in dire need of an easy way to provide food for so many hungry mouths. The best thing we can do is limit and refine our consumption as individuals, and spread the word. Also (if you live in the U.S.) you should check out Temple Grandin. She is an avid supporter of humane slaughter and transport methods. It's a grisly subject, but one that definitely needs to be addressed.
SlymeGreen 5 months ago
A very moving and - because it wasn't preachy - effective film. I eat meat - and may continue to do so - but I am suddenly extremely concerned about how it came from the live animal to my plate.
Animals are peaceful, innocent; causing them pain traumatises them and diminishes us.
2Sixes 6 months ago
@OlgaTheBrownFox theres nothin wrong with that theres less fat and it tastes better because its pasture fed unlike feedlots which feed mostly corn. comming from a farming family myself i can honestly say most farmers would never do that because it impacts there revenue if ur against this type of stuff 80% of factory farmed meat is meant to go to fastfood outlets and the rest goes to major grocery stores if u could find a small butcher shop that also sells meat u would bypass all of that
199jl 6 months ago

Only way is to make factory farms inefficient. I mean bying meat and eggs from family farms etc. I know it is more expensive, but is healthier, and better in taste, not to mention humane way of aquiring meat. Don't have to be vegan, humans need meat as well as fruit and vegetables. We are omnivores afterall
BadBoy1986PL 6 months ago
@BadBoy1986PL I would have to dispute your claim about our omnivorous natures. It was necessary when we were opportunistic hunter-gatherers and ate what we could find, but just keep in mind that it is no longer a necessity in our advanced society. There are other ways to acquire the nutrients our bodies need. Of course, there are some people that have no other choice, like those prone to certain health issues. But anyone otherwise is just making excuses. And please don't take this the wrong way.

I hope you're a vegan, otherwise you're contributing to this.

@MrEthereality or maybe he eats meat produced on farms he knows personally and has studied carefully to make sure theyre humane, thats not contributing to cruelty, thats just life. You dont now the backstory, dont come up with a wild statement.

@R3FL3XSN1P3R

LOL at the difference in the two songs.

@dschaefers I will never give my money over to that shit, so you just shut the fuck up and enjoy your colon cancer, fuck you
