the only way i can see america returning to the moon in the next 10 years is if another cold war type sceniario arises where america would have to prove it has the strenght to go back to the moon and thats doubt full cus america just doesnt care anymore

ya lets cut NASA to save money for our funds for more important things like, i dont know, wars in third-world countries? Yes, because that is benefiting us more than researching more advanced technology.

NASA's budget isnt more than 20% of our entire GDP. What we need is to cut entitlements.

This is so sad..That the first man on the Moon would not be able to see humans return to the Moon by 50th anniversay of the first Moon landing!! 20th July 2019 !! The USA can ALWAYS find billions to fight wars overnight!! But the do real science !! REAL exploring BEYOND LEO ! They can't find a few billion a year for NASA?!! This is awful!! Oh well..It seems SpaceX and Biglow and rest will be doing that ! Hurry up please and go somewhere !!

Because of the Constellation programme I got excited about NASA again !! The Ares 1-X worked ! It actual launched ! What Constellation need was shape up and use it´s money better ! NOT cancellation ! It need real funding ! It is heartbreaking NASA is not going back to the Moon ! Have a Moonbase ! On to Mars ! I have nothing agaist private space companies..Space X etc. I just sense NASA has made big mistake ! Obama has made a mistake too !! Stuck in LEO since 1972 ??!!! Going to ? No where !!

The universe is built in circles, orbits work in circles, at this rate, the circle will only get smaller, soon suborbital, soon after it won't even be a circle, it will be a line, pointing to the sky. What happened to that oval shape we threw ourselves on when we went to the moon.
