i think it is one of the best laptops out there for $500. I got the Core 2 duo one. Great for programming and having video chats. Gaming, okay for games that are at least 3 years old such as half life 2, counter strike source, oblivion, halo 2 vista and such. Not good for new games! comfortable keyboard, touchpad is good size, and most of all, beautiful screen and connectivity. 4 usb ports, firewire, gigabit ethernet, and dvd rewritable drive to burn movies photos and more.

What graphics card? I may be picking one up when they hit the Dell Outlet. Well, graphics card isn't as important as VT is to me.

I got one yesterday.. speakers are not that great, graphix card also , but besides that every thing is just great . and actually for its cheap price I find it very convenient . running windows 7 and all seems fine. hope it lasts for a while.

the battery (new) lasts for about 4 hours.

I heard that Dell has several problems and propably if Vostro is that cheap maybe sg is in the background(,and sorry for this term if you don't understand) and when Lenovos were tested I didn't find any problems mentioned by the article's author

@smellytoilet1996 not really sure if its better or not, never used Lenovo, Dell is my first PC laptop, used to use Mac, however I am quite happy with Dell, and I found out that even the graphic card is capable of amazing me ! well ..still the speakers are total crap .. but it really worth every single dime I paid.

as for me i got speakers from my old PC desktop..which don't need electracity..connect it to the laptop via USB and it works.. :D

I have this dell its good the webcam s good but on itunes the it is very hard to hear and im only 15 but anyway great computer

I got it a few days ago.. a decent computer but the sound is very very very weak ! If u plan to use earphones that's fine, otherwize u'll be disapointed by the weak volume of the speakers (I think my iphone have a better sound than this computer lol)
