My 67 Chevelle is nowhere near as fast as my civic (I hope it will be someday with a 502). I enjoy all fast cars and respect everyone's different ideas. The Civic did a 16.3 with me driving it when it was stock, but neither car is stock. Way to cloud the focus of the discusion. I have the Chevelle because it's beautiful and sounds great. I have the Civic because its fun to drive. Why is that so hard to understand?
While admitedly this isn't a very fast civic, even mine is faster and I don't claim it to be fast. It is however, quick. Your claim about 6 second american muscle seems quite ignorant. I spend much of my time at the track and I have yet to see a 6 second muscle car. Any cars I've seen run times like that have aftermarket engines unlike anything the big three ever made and cost $80,000 for each engine. Comparing high dollar race cars to some guys civic is silly.
