Goldberg Yak 54 with a Brillelli 46gt

Hey, i have a yak-54 70", can u suggest me about wich engine i can use for it, i'm between zenoah 23cc or O.S 120 2c, thx, and nice video.

Thanks, I think I would go with the O.S. 120AX. It will have a better power to weight ratio. If you want a gas engine, just keep in mind the extra weight that comes with it. My Yak with the 46cc flies nice, but I would not want it any heavier.

Hey, I posted a video of this plane also. She is a good flier. I took the smoke out of mine recently and was pleasantly surprised. much more stable, especially in harriers. Keep it light!!

I have a Brillelli 46 in mine but have heard that gas motors from 40cc to 50cc have worked well in this plane. I would try to keep it as light as you can. It seems like it wants to keep gaining weight. Try for 15 LB that was my goal.

Looks like it land easy maybe the wing loading is not as scary as I thought...?

Considering the EF Yak also from Extreme Flight. Any thoughts on that plane?

I think the EF Yak should be a little lighter then the Goldberg mine is 15 pounds with smoke on board and I have no complaints it comes in like a trainer. Will you be using the 46 Brillelli on the 74" EF Yak if so I have herd that it is an excellent set up.

The EF yak and the 46 for about $8 bills but there is alos a bunch of stuff thrown in gas can etc. Def a good deal. Good to hear you like the engine. I went looking for your Goldberg Yak at Tower and it is backordered a month of Sundays:(
