PS- you should be using sterile plastic gloves if you want to wear gloves and NOT dirt bike gloves or ski gloves or work gloves as they are nastier and carry MORE bacteria than your bare un washed hand would be...YUCK!
This must be a older unit as they do not make them with white buckets now for obvious reasons....you should insulate your buckets and make them light proof or you are gonna grow some serious algae and other unwanted growth.
Yikes! They also do not recomend you use Algen Extract in this systems...man I bet that was a pain in the ass to clean the system and remove all the organic slime from inside the PVC pipes....

what would the nutrient mixing ratio be in reference to the entire DWC setup? ie, would i mix my nutes based on the size of the resevoir? or the capacity of water contained within the whole DWC buckets sum?
@MrGlassAddict that one actually was running at 120v.... it can do either... just got to have a good electrician who knows what they're doing... i think the cost of running the line was a 6pack and change ;)
To be honest if you are not going to grow more than 10 plant, you might as well just use DWC bucket system because this is wasting too much space when you can grow a few more plant and make the best use of the light.
when installing your sentinel HPH-4 did the indicator light turned on when plugged to your 30 amp plug or did you had to plug in a timer to activate the indicator light
@RootsGrowSupply not this one in particular... found that with white buckets light would leak through from underneath and light proofing them was too much effort... used some blue buckets instead ;)
@BrickTweenty one 6 inch airstone in each bucket; the cheap ones... when they are done growing the roots have eaten the stones so i just chop the lines and start with new ones
question. what do you do when the plants have rooted and you have to lower the water level? because the float is so high inside the control bucket, if you lower the water, more will pour in from above? so i was just wondering how you use the float when the water levels need to be around 4-5 inches instead of 2 inches into the pot. thanks!
@hellboundkidd i always run higher water levels; more water more roots... i figure these systems excel at water roots as opposed to air roots but i've seen success with both methods; i personally just run the water high
@opt1c420 that sounds like it could be a headache though... wouldn't the ideal setup be just topping off with ph'd water and nuting from the control bucket? I am using standalone 5 gal buckets and I always top off through the week with just ph water they seem to like it better then full blown nutes 24/7 maybe its just my strain though... I am about to go buy an undercurrent and leave a couple buckets empty so they can just act as buffer buckets instead of plant sites.
Did you build the system yourself? I only ask because I know the CC sells them in blue, no need to wrap in black plastic! I found the same supplier that has white, does it let light in? I plan on building my own shortly.
@aenima1 yeah the white buckets let light in; especially through the bottom of the buckets as they have grooves and don't sit flat. this was a prototype unit from cc i didn't build it myself; just assembled it
Free energy technology exists! But some very powerfull ppl don't want you and me to be free from energy costs,Find a motor that needs no fuel or input at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Big change is comming soon!
@wertysw yup; 1/4hp which is overkill for a 6 site setup but allows room for expansion in the future. You can get away with a 1/10hp chiller no problem. I know people who run water cultures without them and rely on ambient air temp being pumped in via the airstones to keep temps in check but i don't like things i can't control.
Dont know exactly what it's for but that looks like a damn good setup. Looks complex as hell whatever it is thats shit looks technical. Looks like some mad scientists water purifier
@joebud2007 you forgot the propane tank and open flame on the co2 burner.... been raging over 2 years in the same spot and haven't burned the place down yet. If you don't have the balls and brains to play with water, fire, and electricity i and i suggest staying in the dirt.
sucks you didn't make it past 5th grade, moron. read more books, dipshit. if you know anything about indoor cultivation, you would see that bro's op is tight.
Your ideas helped me build my grow room.
Thanks for your video. I've posted my video
