@Cudifying Joe isn't using autotune to correct any micromodulations in his voice that may result in off-pitch notes. Rather, he's using autotune as an instrument. It's not the quality of his actual voice that is of use in the song. Instead, he uses autotune to change it into something electronic and supernatural. That is the major difference between pop stars using autotune as basically white-out and joe using autotune as something akin to a violin in a symphony, a piece of the whole.
