This music bores me and I don't like the vocalist at all. I like old school metal but this just seems too light. It has some decent metal roots type riffs but hearing the same thing I heard when I was little doesn't do anything for me 20 years later, especially when it lacks intensity or emotion and looks like a stupid contrived gimmick.

These guys are superb, it's right up my street. Satan goes commercial, merciful fate in a pop format..... but thats a good thing. They use great craftmanship in their songs and with the influences they have I'd be surprised if they were a young lot. I can't rate their debut album highly enough.

Hell I listen to everything from Agnostic Front to Voivod, and bands like Napalm Death and Dio in between. Kids today have no clue about the what is and what isn't metal. They think metal starts with Thrash metal and that if you're not atleast as heavy as Megadeth you're not metal. And if you experiment it's not metal. There's something special about this band, hard to describe... It obviously has influence from old rock/metal bands from the 60s/70s. I prefer "faster" music (Metalcore, Power Metal), but the band is interesting nonetheless.
