I used to feel like this about other mmorpgs.. but I think you just grow out of it eventually. Its sort of sad, but I just don't give a shit anymore.

I've been 5 months clean. Don't go back! I wasted 4 years of my life playing 12 hours a day. It just about ruined my life. Now I actually have a life. Here is praying we all have the strength to quit and to stay away instead of making Blizzard rich by destroying our lives.

I am so glad that I quit now. I played for 4.5 years and it was time. I sold everything and deleted my characters. It was funny....I was naked in Thrall's chamber and I said in chat "I am quitting wow and the first person to open trade with me gets all my gold"...it was funny...you should have seen how many people came running. It was a blast while it lasted but it was time for me to check out. If you play wow more then an 2 hours a day then I think you are addicted

This game has done so many things to me, it has made me loose friends, become anti-social, and had a great impact on my grades. I am one of those people that get addicted very easily. I still havnt quit WoW for good, i have tried many time but failed. I am going to quit again starting now. I just hope i can this time...

EG would be the first Friday night of a guild I joined decided to go for Yogg No Keepers 10man thinking it would be about 4hours. It took over 8hours for 10people in the realms most progressed 25man guild(who had spent 50+Hours on yogg no keepers 25man) to defeat this. It was their first 10man kill and it probably didn't help that I'd killed yogg once before but we still did it, after what would usualy be 2-3 days of raiding in one night.

I thought I never could quit, but it was quiet easy. You dont live twice and it's so much fun out there which gives you a better feeling and enjoying the life more. I happend to see this when one of my friends died last summer, he spendt almost all hes times the past four years on wow. That could happend to me aswell, so I started to seek for my dreams :)
