Like it or not 90% or more of christians will not make it into the kingdom of heaven! All you have to do is read Galatians 5:16-26 to see if you bear any fruits? Then you have to forgive to be forgiving. And check yourself to see if you obey all commandments because everyone will be judge by your works NOT your believes or faith. Oh, how about doctrine? Tinity or Oneness? Baptism or Not?ect...

Can that faith save him? if a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? The People who depict God as a bloodthirsty being know NOTHING about his original Word! They tend to NOT know the Original Language and ONLY Parrot what their Pastor or Priest tells them is true about God!

I know the argument. Because Evil exists in this world is the reason why there is no god or whatever.

But Very Nice things happen too! We have children born, people fall in love, puppies and kittens exist, not to mention sun rises and sunsets, Sex, etc!

One is not only demanded to "fear" God in the real sense of the word, but to also love him, hence all the threats of retribution. "I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of them that hate me."

This is forced worship, a shotgun wedding, a "love me or die" proposal. If you don't fear him as you should, the fear of hell is expected to do the trick.

I agree that "Fear" is the tool used by MAINSTREAM Christians. And this "FEAR MONGERING" is WRONG!!

The TRUE God is a god of Love,...nothing more, nothing less.

Perhaps you should enlighten us by giving examples of how God loves us. Why is he always spoken of as a "God of Love"? Is it only because the bible says so? Show us the evidence of this love.

Have another read of Exodus chapters 7 through 12. It's one of the most appalling stories in literature. God hardens Pharaoh's heart repeatedly, then brings these horrible plagues, then kills the eldest son of EVERY Egyptian household and of their slaves, their prisoners, even their livestock, and all so that he can show off his magical powers. There was not one home without a death. Have you ever lost a child? I have. Hell yes, I would fear that god, if he was real!
