  • Sweet video, but the song about ass sucks ass.

  • hey, can u send me a message with info on how to do this and how much it would cost to get it started, and i read a comment about putting a tank in the bad for long trips, im looking to get my first car and im wanting to get a truck and idk if i wanna get a small truck tht runs on gas or if it would be cheaper to do this with an old diesel truck, if u could give me some advice i would really appreciate it

  • so do you just use that Fill-Rite pump to push the WVO through the vert filter then just swap hoses to pump it into the car? what kind of microns is that vert filter?

  • I sold this car about 6 months later. But I continue to run WVO in my F-250 and have about 50K miles on WVO now. No problems to report. My filter on my truck system seperates any water. But yeah 230+K miles on the PSD 50 of which are WVO and it runs great.

  • What are you doing about the suspended water? Pitting of cylinder walls from the water?

How is the car running after 5years??

  • Nice bet it smells good too

  • yeah this is future ;)

golf mk 2 TD on vegetable

  • I just emptied another 200 gallons out of the back of my F250 today. I have now 800 gallons in the back yard. There is nothing more exciting then flipping the switch. I am burning it in an F350 1991 Ford 7.3 liter diesel. I also have a 1992 that I will set up. I designed the my own system, with a 225 gallon tank in the bed of the duelly. Good enough for about a 2600 mile round trip with no refueling!

  • have fun when your get to replace your fuel system in another year. You cannot run wvo in a diesel without consequences.

  • @halohadel quit talking shit asshat. my dad has been running corn oil in his diesel for the last 5 years. i have been doing it since i was 16 (im almost 20 now) and my brother does the same. we dont go crazy with filters like every 1 else does. we just use a paint filter, and put it in our tanks. usually its 50% diesel 50% cornoil but alot of times its 100% corn oil. please dont put wrong information out on the internet. people really depend on these videos

  • @europe0wnz Finally!!! some one who knows !!!!! Cheers!!!!

  • Nice setup! Where did you get that little nifty pump and nozzle, it's the only thing I am missing! Thanks.

  • Did you have any conversion under the hood to run the grease straight from the main tank?

  • At that point in time it was summer and no I did not. I did put one on a few months later. Here in NC you could probably get by all year with just a bit of mixing in the winter months and if kept in a garage and a block heater. Not my favorite though as if you have a filter problem there is no way to byspass.

  • My Favorite is Mexican. They usually only fry tortillias and it is spot on. I use a fish fry place right now as they go through a lot to keep up with my demand. Mexican produceses very little. Never had luck with Chinese. They always seem to mix lard with theirs.

  • which restaurants do you find have the cleanest oil? mexican? chinese, italian? ive been collecting from a seafood restaurant this past summer but find after filtering to 5 micron i'm still going through fuel filters, appreciate any info you could share!

  • First off...that is bad ass! Second...what type of vertical filter do you use?

  • The canister is from an old aviation filter I got from a friend. It has a standard Poly sock filter inside that fits perfectly around the top. As long as the oil is decent it will filter a few hundred gallons before needing replaced or cleaned. I hate cleaning them but ran out so that is now what I do instead of buying more.

  • How are you dewatering that fast????

  • I am not. I do a test once a year but I never have any water in the oil I'm getting. Plus My filter on my truck gets that so I'm not worried. 50K+ miles and no problem on my powerstroke.

  • It would be interesting to see a video describing the waste-oil to fuel conversion process. Are ya up to it? :)

By the way, very nice w123 300td! (I have two but, not in as nice condition.)

  • Hello,

Probably not. There are some good video's out there already.

Thank you for the comment. I just sold the car about a month ago though. I couldn't believe it myself. But I had saved her from destruction and it was time for another project.

  • First off, beautiful car. Second, what type of pump are you using in your second system? My friend and I are building a WVO filter station / biodiesel reactor and we need to buy a pump.

  • whadup, Benz lovers? I love diesels.

the only thing I dont like about them is the clacking noise from under the hood. ah well, small price to pay

  • What that is one of the best parts!!! I love the purr of a smaller IDI. The new common rails sound tinny but still better than a gasser.

  • you know what? I actually agree with you!

(dare to be different) I love the way people look around for a truck and see a grand old Benz xD

  • Nice setup. I have a 300D and I filter my oil through old blue jeans. It works tremendously.

    (Ron Paul for Prez.)

  • That is what that old big green thing I was standing next to. I used denim over that bucket and even though i had a heat exchanger and the oil was hot they would clog even with really clean settled oil in an instant and it would take forever. After this I will never go back.

Tonight i actually almost finished my two tank set up I started yesterday. Would have finished but I can't seem to get the DPDT switch to work exactly right. Maybe I will add another video when I get it done

  • A56: I see. Well, mine is much simpler (not that it is better, just simpler). I tie up the legs of an old pair of jeans and hang them over my 55 gal. drum and then just pour the vege oil right through. I then send it through an oil/fuel filter before I put it in my tank.

  • nice mercedes, I just bought an 80' 300D

  • Very cool! How does the Om617 run on it compared to normal diesel?

  • hey, im doing a project on this and would like to know more about your set up... im a high school student.... Thanks
